Amateur talent Show for Nelson and surrounding Kootenay area. $3000.00 in total cash prizes in three age categories. Children (12 & under) Youth (13-18) and Adult (19+) No Lip Sync, Air Band or Karaoche. Registration forms are available at Chakko-Mika Mall in Nelson on Saturday March 29, April 5 and April 12.
Entry fee is $25.00 for up to a group of four, additonal entrants $10.00.

Tickets are $10.00 each or $35.00 for a family of four.

The Dances of Universal Peace are a joyous, multi-cultural way to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. The Dances use sacred phrases from the many spiritual traditions of the world to promote peace and create an integrated experience of body, mind, and spirit.

Afternoon session 1:30 - 4:30 - exploring Rumi's notion that "emotion is the original agreement with God".

Potluck supper 4:30 - 6:30

Evening session 6:30 - 8:30 - a celebration of the sacred feminine in honour of Mother's Day.

No experience or partner necessary. Admission is by donation. Bring non-marking indoor footwear and a water bottle.
