The Nelson Athletic Association invites you to participate in our 26th Annual triathlon.
Our triathlon continues to be an event for everyone, from top-ranked amateurs to adult and youth participants who are entering for pure enjoyment.

Kootenay Lake is the focal point of CYSWOG'N"FUN triathlon. Our transition area is located in beautiful Lakeside Park. The swim is across the lake and return, then biking north along the lakeside. The run is on the west side of the lake.

We also have a sprint course for people who are just breaking into the world of triathlon or for those athletes who enjoy the sprint distance. Our team events are ideal for family or group participation.

This experiential introduction to the Nonviolent Communication Process will offer tools for expressing honestly, listening empathically and creating heartfelt connections. We will explore the dance of communication using interactive exercises and the “NVC Dance Floors” as maps for clarifying and enlivening the process.

Every Sunday a special tour of the Hume Hotel is offered...the history and the ghost stories will weave the path through the hotel. Visit some of the most haunted places and the history that was the foundation of our town. Cost is $5 per adult, children under 12 free. Tour takes approximately 45 minutes.
