The International School of the Kootenays (ISK) is hosting an Open Registration Night for high school students, home schooled students, and community members interested in taking one or more courses starting in September. Students can register for accredited courses either as an independent study or as an innovative workshop course that combines online work with weekly sessions in the community. All ISK students are matched with a teacher/mentor. For fall '08 ISK is offering a variety of credit classes including Drama (with Jane Hicks), English, BC First Nations, World Music, Math and Spanish. This group will be on-going in the new year as well. It is for those who have take the usui system of Reiki healing (1st or 2nd degree or master's level) to share with others in a group setting.
