The 4th Annual Pedal Along a Rail Route, PARR4, is an annual event in effort to raise funds for Our Daily Bread, Nelson's hot meal program.

Cost: $40 entry fee or $75 in pledges.
Starts: 7:15am ride from Kootenay Christian Fellowship hall to Celgar Mill Parking lot.
Ride: begins 8:15am by bus from Celgar to Paulson Detour Rd. Ends back at Celgar Mill.

Ride lasts about 4 to 5 hours mostly downhill. This is not a race, but a ride over trestles, through tunnels and with great views over the Arrow Lake. (Bring flashlight).

At the conclusion of the ride, Castlegar Christian Fellowship will provide BBQ hotdogs and refreshments.

Return trip to Celgar Mill and Nelson provided.

This Saturday, July 11, the 'Old Koots' an over 40 representative side comprised of players over 40 from throughout the Kootenay region will be playing host to the Kelowna Vicars.

Kick off gets underway at noon. Come down and support what promises to be a very competitive and entertaining match of rugby.
