West Kootenay Social Enterprise Society (WKSES) is currently seeking candidates to fill four open Board of Directors positions for 2010/11. AGM will be on June 29th @ 6pm in the KCDS board room.
WKSES is a non-profit, supported employment agency who hires local persons with barriers to employment to carry out janitorial duties. Employee's are paid competetive wages and shifts vary in accordance to individual skills/needs.
Who are we looking for? Professionals with board experience and/or interest in community development. Expertise in one of the following areas would be an asset: Accounting/bookkeeping, law, business knowledge, social services experience, fundraising/grant writing skills or marketing and web development.
