For those wanting to get some mid-week dancing fun…

Howie Ross, assisted by Lisa and Peter,  has been teaching Swing at the Royal since mid-January in courses of 4 sessions, and the next course begins Tuesday, April 6 .

This is a fast-track course - deliberately loaded with fun and lots of moves - designed for both beginners and people already enjoying social partner dancing.

Beginners will quickly acquire competency and feel confident getting on the dance floor to almost any dance music; while more advanced dancers will acquire a new set of dance ” tools “, based on  the “one-step” style to add to their repertoire of dance rhythms and steps.

This course will give you dancing competence with fun after only 4 classes….satisfaction guaranteed or your money refunded !

Graduates of Howie’s classes who go on to take classes from any other teacher in any other social dance, will find themselves notably better able at learning any other dance style.

The point is to be having fun and feel competence dancing within a very short time period ! This course gets that job done well !

And remember, EVERY FRIDAY at THE ROYAL- “HAPPY HOUR DANCING” starting at 6:00 PM. Each Friday there are lots of dancers, and lots of socializing. The Royal is sooooo accommodating and the venue is the real deal; great dance floor, great food and drinks, great sound system!! Free of charge.
