350 March for Climate Action
Saturday, October 24th 5:30pm @ NDCC parking lot

A group of youth from LV Rogers have issued the following callout to all West Kootenay residents.  At 5:30 pm on October 24th a march starting at the NDCC parking lot will end with all participants assembling into a giant illuminated number 350 on the beach. Bring a flashlight or a candle.

Why 350?  350 parts per million is what scientists, climate experts, and progressive national governments are now saying is the safe upper limit for CO2 in our atmosphere. Please join the students in taking a stand for a livable future and show your support for major reductions in global greenhouse gas emissions.  A 350.org event: http://www.350.org/node/9051
