10:00 am -12:00 noon, is a workshop on how to Save Seeds; avoiding cross pollination, saving the gene pool & other vital information concerning the ever expanding human population and our food sources.
12:00 - 1:00 Vegetarian lunch
1:00 - 3:00 pm will be the seed exchange. Bring those seeds even if they are in the seedpod including those 30-year-old seeds; someone will be happy to plant them.
Spend a day with a couple of the Kootenay’s finest growers and seed savers, as they share with you many secrets of organic gardening and seed saving. Suzanne Miller is a partner of Cherry Meadows Farm. Netta Zeberoff CH, RHP, has been sharing memories of our Mother Earth for over thirty years. Guest speaker Dianne Luchtan of Laird Creek shall talk of her experiences.
