Jan Wright elected as NCTS Board President
At the January 2019 Board Meeting, the NCTS Board of Directors elected Jan Wright as President, succeeding Marilyn Mint, who has led the governance of our organization over the last four years. Jan will be supported by Vice-President Ainsley Mackie, also newly elected to this office. We asked Jan to say a few words about taking on this role:

“I am very excited and honoured to be serving in my new role as the President of the Nelson Civic Theatre Society. Over the last three and a half years I have served as a NCTS board member and vice-president. It was my privilege to work with Marilyn Mint as Board President, who has done an extraordinary job in leading the Society through its beginning years to an established and innovative organization. On behalf of the Society and our community I would like to thank Marilyn for her considerable contributions to the growth of NCTS. She is remaining on the board as our advisor and has promised to walk beside me as we move through the transition period. The Nelson Civic Theatre Society has strong leadership, strong staff and board and a highly involved and supportive community. I look forward to working with all of you.”
