The Civic Theatre is proud to introduce a monthly program of ‘Sensory Friendly Screenings’, commencing with a 10:30am screening of ‘Mary Poppins Returns’, on March 23th.

These screenings are presented in a sensory friendly, lights up, sound down, environment for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or anyone for whom the environment is suitable and their families to view new release films in the theatre.

Depending on film selection availability, these screenings will take place roughly monthly on Saturday mornings at 10:30 am. Ticket price is at the matinee pricing and people are welcome to bring their own food items.

Job Description: HR management and scheduling of Front of House staff and event service supervision (evenings, primarily).

Position Reports to: Operations Manager

This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position.

Position Summary
The Front Of House (FOH) Supervisor is responsible for the effective operation of the theatre during Civic Theatre programming, and for creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for patrons. This comprises projection and other event technology and floor supervision duties. In addition, , the FOH Supervisor is responsible for FOH staffing, including hiring, training, scheduling and other HR-related tasks.
