Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life

Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with family and friends and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer, and fight back against this disease. This is Nelson’s way to FIGHT BACK against cancer!! Walk with us in this inspirational 12 hour event as we come together to raise funds and make cancer history. Your participation makes a difference. What makes Relay For Life so special? At Relay For Life you will:

  • Be inspired by cancer survivors, their loved ones and the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society!
  • Take turns walking, running or strolling around a track in a non-competitive relay.
  • Give 12 hours to the fight against cancer to help add years to the lives of others.
  • Relax and have fun off the track, enjoying activities and entertainment.
  • Learn about cancer and what you can do to reduce your risks.

The 2008 Nelson Relay for Life takes place June 21, 11am to 11pm, at Lakeside Park.

Team captains/participants call: Lindsay Davis, 505-2582

To volunteer call: Keely Scott, 354-4944
