Newly renovated timber frame cottage in Sunshine Bay, 20 miles (30 minutes) east of Nelson on the beautiful West Arm of Kootenay Lake.

This 150 acre property borders the Harrop/Procter Community Forest wilderness area, part of the southern Selkirk range.

10 minutes to Kokanee Creek Provincial Park and entrance to Kokanee Glacier Mountain Park—15 minutes to Kootenay Lake ferry and Balfour Golf Course—30 minutes to Ainsworth Hot Springs—

1 hour (including 35 minute Kootenay Lake ferry) to Kokanee Springs Golf Course and Crawford Bay—1 hour to Whitewater Ski Hill—

5 minute walk to lakeside Sunshine Bay Park adjacent to the farm with half a mile of waterfront beaches and trails; soccer pitch, baseball diamond and bike park.

1200 square foot cottage includes 2 bedrooms with queen beds, full kitchen, living/dining room, bath and shower and outside decks.  Extra beds available.  Organic eggs and produce available in season.  Non-smoking indoors.  High speed wireless internet,  CD/DVD/IPOD player, washer and dryer.  Canoe, kayaks and bikes available.

Full breakfast provided at additional charge.

High Season–June 01 to Sept 30:

Daily Rate $150  (2 night minimum)

Weekly Rate $950

Low Season –Oct 01 to May 31:

Daily Rate $125 (2 night minimum)

Weekly Rate $750
