The Alchemy of Writing One Day Workshop

We live in a vast field of creative energy that wants to move through us. Opening to this energy allows us to access our natural creativity, freedom and courage. In this workshop, we will be learning how to relate to this process of writing as powerful medicine. This medicine has nothing to do with special talents or skills. It is available to all of us. This medicine connects us with the natural wholeness of our being, and allows us to access our deepest resources.

Spring is a time of awakening, dynamism and new growth. We will be focusing in this work with ourselves and each other on opening new possibilities for movement and transformation in our lives. What is it that you really care about right now? How can you find the resources, both inner and outer, that will allow you to live with creativity and full integrity?

Human life is full of challenges and obstacles, especially right now on our planet. We can discover our own way of meeting these obstacles, using the power of this writing process to ‘rise to the occasion’ of our own life, exactly as it is.

Shayla studied for 25 years in India, and has been teaching writing, speaking, yoga and inquiry all over the world for many years. She writes professionally, and also just for the love of it. She has a teaching degree in yoga, a Phd in non-dual philosophy, and is a certified coach.

As a combined effort, this unique and inspiring class will be hosted by Kaslo life coach, Brodie Whitney in his mountain-view studio in Mirror Lake.
