Week of July 4

Tip of the Week:

Each New Moon represents a cosmic seed that can be used for magic here on earth. This magic is not the kind of tricks and illusions that dazzle the mind. It is the kind that we use by clearly outlining our dreams and desires so that our conscious and subconscious mind can attract us to them and them to us. It is not a belief but a science based on universal laws that energy flows where attention goes. We are co-creators and our mind focus is our magical wand. Each New and Full Moon can be harnessed for greater participation. Many ‘do not believe’ because they simply ‘do not pay attention’. Proof requires attention, observation and activation. The results are relative because of the subjective experience we all have with life and are also dependent upon our input or quality of consciousness we are engaging. The march of objectivity of science to glean more accurate proof and truth has its great merits, but as subjective beings in the unified field of life, pure objectivity is ultimately an illusion. Modern science has proven this but many continue to move through life as though their perspectives, beliefs and philosophies etcetera are objective, betraying the very meaning of the words themselves. The main point is that as agents of free will, we have the opportunity to co-create our lives and the outcome is never completely certain for this reason. On the high side, we can learn to co-create by tuning into and working with the Moon and the lunation cycle from new to full and back to new again which occurs 12-13 times per year. We can use the Moon’s cycle for everything from gardening to initiating projects and manifesting dreams. Look to all the failed projects and relationships and crops etcetera and ask yourself if perhaps these were initiated contrary to one of nature’s most basic cycles, the lunation cycle.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
This New Moon cycle will prove happiest for you close to home. You will want to get a lot done and there will be errands, calls and visits as well. Make time for magical moments with loved ones for games, laughs and bonding. You can get back to being a big time mover and a shaker again… later. Besides, you can weave in more practical and constructive activities that perhaps include the family or with good time management. Important communications are featured in this cycle as are tending to a variety of communications for practical purposes. With a clear intention and some good time management you can just about have it all!

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
Our imagination and feelings are our most basic modes of transport. Memories, stories, visions and movies etcetera can carry us off to distant times and places. Whatever you do next consciously engage a fuller measure of your feelings and feel fully the lovely days, avoiding reactive dramas. While you may not be as reactive as others, you can get drawn in. Awareness and choice to create good boundaries will prove empowering. Rather than fill time or waste it or spend it go for seeing time as a component of creative activity. This is a good time to learn and teach and both will become more apparent over the next few weeks. Aim for rich exchanges.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
What do you feel you truly need and want and what is the difference? Knowing this answer can save you a lot of fear based reactions. Inner work in either your home and/or the deeper reaches of your being will prove fulfilling. The past accumulates and stagnates so we must clear it to make way for the new. This lunar cycle has a lot to do with creating a more abundant flow. It may also imply cultivating feelings of security in other ways as well. In an information age, knowledge is power, yet we are wise to clean out the past to make way for the new. Take a constructively critical approach to decipher what you have, want and need and what might be blocking the flow of this natural cycle.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
New beginnings are always the other side of endings. When we can be aware and choose what must go to make way, the energies flow smoother. Keep the best and leave the rest. Ambitions to build and construct will require a clear space. Cleanliness is close to godliness. The quality of your relationships is implied. Are the lines of communication as smooth and clear as you would like? There may be some confusions and indecision lingering. While getting clear with others is good, we must also get clear with ourselves, often this is the first step. This is a good time to contemplate, meditate and dream for clarity, on one hand, and answers on the other. Take your time to digest the implications of your insights to create balance and harmony on all fronts.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
‘Slow down, you move too fast. You have to make the moments last…’ Everything we do we do to feel good. The gift of feeling and sensuality is nature’s reward and bait as it ensures the perpetuation of a species. Take time out to feel and remember that the ability to feel begins and ends in the heart. So, meditate on gratitude because it is a key to open the heart. Tuning in more closely to your psychology is akin to knowing your own thoughts, feelings, beliefs, goals and dreams. Some cycles are better for re-assessing these than others and this is one of those cycles. Intend to get in touch with your feelings and intuitions about how you can better express yourself for money and love.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
What are you wishing for? Are you clear or vague and do you believe you can have it? Now is the time to outline all the things and events and experiences that your heart desires. Make some extra efforts to outline your hopes and wishes then follow through with action and they will manifest. Sometimes the manifestation process is quite immediate and sometimes we must be more patient and persevering. This is because our focus and/or priorities are scattered, or because what we want is big and requires a lot of creative energy and implies an array of contributing factors. But resigning to a situation can be akin to passive defeat. Keep an open mind, bring practical needs into focus and review the possibilities and variety of angles of approach you can take.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
It has been said that it takes a whole village to raise a child. Cities can be too large and the countryside too sparse. So, how do we nurture a community where we realize that the thoughts and words we may think go unheard are loudly blasting on the psychic airwaves? Why, by realizing and choosing to cultivate unity in the community. Your career and social standing are in need of attention. How can you nurture a closer connection with yourself, your family and community in general? By sincerely asking this question and trusting that you will get answers, you will. Ask and you shall receive is a truth but is determined by your actual destiny and needs. Nurture realistic connections with the help of some practical magic.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
A full range of feeling and emotion wants to swing you and your partner around like you are dancing at a wedding. There are emotions for every occasion and some are for spinning and dancing, jokes and teasing with tongues in cheek and hilarious laughter. Make room for belly chuckles even if fat wiggles and jiggles. Mixing tears with laughter is acceptable. The main message is that play and fun and create are words that go together. Some call life a dream, others contend it is an illusion but if you really think about it, life is a game that requires a good deal of creativity and often includes a lot of drama. We can learn to keep the drama mellow or we can dive right in and let the emotions carry us. Above all, choose to be happy!

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
How in touch are you with your inner child? Knowing everything can be a burden. Innocence is the state of the enlightened and they can speak volumes too, if they have to. But back to the awe and wonders of what need not and cannot be truly known is where the ancient ones go. Embrace the wonder and the mysterious depths too. This balance of innocence and awe with knowing and logic is important. Sometimes it is simply best to call upon the wisdom, knowledge and expertise of others rather than try to be and do everything. Nurture more flow and fulfillment by calling upon being open to or hiring others whose knowledge and experience can prove a valuable contribution to your big plans.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
Nurturing harmony and balance in all your most important relationships is the call now. Creative cultivation and empathetic sensibility covers a lot of ground. Evolved leadership takes the initiative and guides others in this way. Since what goes around comes around, it is also the mark of wise business practice! Of course, the primary relationship begins with one’s own self. This means learning to be in touch with your thoughts, feelings, intuitions, inspirations and visions. Other outer duties and people are ever important, but you ‘gotta get in to get out’. Striking a balance between our personal needs and orientations and those of others is ideal and achieving it requires a full measure of empathy.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
Nurturing a stable and healthy lifestyle continues as a central theme. This includes the wisdom of carefully choosing right vocation, regardless of how it compares with the neighbours. Doing what we love leads to loving what we have and then quantities give way to qualities that travel light. Our lifestyle in general and the quality of choices we make on a daily basis requires a genuinely nurturing attitude and approach. Learning to take care of ourselves in a whole way implies mental, emotional, physical and spiritual considerations. Those who pay attention in this whole way are the exception in the world because doing so requires sincere focus to understand what each means and how they interact. Consider that while our mind compartmentalizes, our being functions as a whole unit.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
Creative feelings are flowing through your veins. Amidst external pressures and the push and pull of life, this is your chance to be here now and feel the life pulse of creative urges. Whether these feelings lead to art, romance or a picnic with the family, they are a reminder that life’s flowers are creative expressions and pleasurable feelings. It is said that everything we do is to feel good. Take a moment to consider this and assess if there is any confusion about this in your actions. Are you aware of how you feel? Do you sacrifice too much and deny your feelings or are you so sensitive that you are cut off from others? Set your intentions to create a more fulfilling flow of feelings.
