FREE Employment Program

Kootenay Career Development Society is offering a FREE five-week program to prepare people to work in the Retail, Accommodation, Food Service and Tourism Training sectors.

Get industry certifications such as SuperHost, Foodsafe and WHIMS, learn valuable skills such as resume writing and interviewing; meet local employers; build your confidence; and so much more! Participants receive lunch every day, transportation and clothing supports, childcare subsidies and completion bonuses.

The program consists of five weeks of in-class and community-based training, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2:30 pm, followed by one-on-one follow up individual support to help you get the job you want.
