Considering herself a Kootenay girl a heart, Jana moved to Nelson in 2009. She was returning to the home of her great grandmother, Louise Horswill, who was an early settler in Nelson.
Focusing on serving new families relocating to the area, and people that see the Kootenays as a smart real estate investment.
Jana is the founder and organizer of two community events in Nelson, Breakfast With Santa and the Easter Egg Hunt in Lakeside Park. Jana has been giving back since a teen in every community she has resided in. She has carried this into her adult life and gives her time and energy when she is able.
She gives back 5% of her commission for every real estate transaction to the charity of her clients choice.
