This week’s programming is more than theek.  It’s bahut achchha Follow the lovable animated pets in ‘Secret Life of Pets 2’ to the farm started by filmmaker John Chester and his wife Molly Chester, a culinary writer. The couple trade in city life to start their own farm on a stretch of depleted soil outside Los Angeles. Part of their inspiration is to offer a better, outdoor life for their rescue dog, Todd. Moreover, they want to live in better harmony with nature. Many of us hold similar dreams, but John and Molly put them into action. The Chesters made a short jump from La La Land, but the Indian Film Club will escort you to Bollywood with the Hindi film ‘Bharat.’ An eight-year-old boy makes a vow to his father that he will keep his family together no matter what happens, a promise that he works hard to keep over the next 60 years of his life. The film is subtitled in English and all are welcome.
