It’s been a while since our last newsletter… An update on lots of exciting changes and how they’ll impact you. Spring News Winlaw office has opened:Serving the Slocan ValleyFor appointments, please email: valleychiro@proton.meWe’ll be switching to an online booking system soonConsider adding a relaxing/detoxing/invigorating cedar barrel sauna to your visit – this should be ready in early AprilThe home office/health studio was the first thing we’d ever really built. It took a lot longer than we thought it would, but we’re really happy with the results. And we couldn’t have done it without our builder friend, Ken. . Home officeCedar barrel sauna New hours starting April 3rdNelson office: all day Monday, Wednesday and ThursdayWinlaw office: all day TuesdayIncreasing RatesIt’s been years since we’ve done it…but it’s got to be done. Starting April 3rd, the new rates will be:Adults: $60Children/students/seniors: $50New Online Booking PlatformWe’ll be moving our online booking to Jane App by early April. It’s the most commonly used platform in town and is very user friendly. After feedback from many of you, we decided to make this change. Wait list frustrations! Some patients have been frustrated when they’re not able to get the appointment times/days they want. We’re doing our best to accommodate everyone. There is a waiting list, but I’m currently monitoring it myself. On busy days, it can be challenging to update the wait list. With our new booking software, Jane App, you’ll find an integrated wait list feature. We’re hoping this makes life easier. If you are able, please book a few days in advance. I know this isn’t always possible, but it will give you a better chance of getting a time that better fits your schedule. Charity FundraiserSeeing as it’s been a few years since our chaotic Chiro Kids charity fundraiser days, I felt it was time to offer support to families in need. Here’s what I propose: make a reasonable offer on any stock we have for sale in the office. That includes: orthopedic/memory foam pillows, Posture Medic posture supporter, hot/cold packs, TheraGel stress balls, rehab stretch bands and exercise/movement repatterning DVDs. All proceeds from all sales will be donated to the food bank. New Self-Care Education Series I’ve had numerous requests from patients to create something like a self-care manual. Starting in March, I’ll begin adding regular blog posts and short videos with exercises and health concepts that you can implement into your daily routine. The idea will be to find the most impactful exercises/lifestyle modification practices that you can add to your routine, with the least amount of disruption to your day. Let me know if there are any particular subjects you want me to cover. New Staff Members On your visits in the Valley, you may be greeted by one or both of our welcoming committee: Max and Gus. Don’t worry… they’re friendly. .Max & Gus Thank you! As always, thank you for your trust and support. I hope you’re doing well and that you’re making your health a priority. Why not make 2023 your healthiest year yet?! I look forward to seeing you soon. If you don’t want to receive these newsletters, please let us know, or click unsubscribe below. |
