Hey hey 😊👋 I’m a mature (33 yo) professional looking for a long-term 1 bedroom rental for move-in January 1st, ideally within biking distance of Nelson 🚵♀️
About me:
I’m a full-time UBCO MSW student and have secured my final social work practicum on unceded ancestral Sinixt, Ktunaxa and Syilx lands this winter. I’m a ski instructor and will be teaching part-time at Whitewater ⛷ I currently work with the brain injury community in Kelowna. I hope to stay in the Nelson/Kootenay region as a registered clinician, if I am welcome. I loved living in the Slocan Valley 2018-19 and aspire to doing good work in a small town.
While I am social and hope to make lots of new connections, I’m introverted and “quiet” and prefer a small place to myself: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen. I have a small FWD car, no pets, just me. I prepare all my meals from scratch and value a good internet connection for work/study from home. I can furnish a rental, though pre-furnished would make moving easier. I’m happy to collaborate on a garden/small farm as I’ve done many times in the past. I’m looking for a 1 bedroom studio, suite, or apartment. I’m not a smoker nor partier and can provide excellent references!
