Love creating spotless spaces? Join the team at The Savoy Hotel in beautiful Nelson, BC, as a Housekeeper and help maintain our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction!

The Housekeeper’s primary role is to clean guest rooms & common areas in a 12-room boutique hotel, as well as other hotel facilities as needed.

We currently have 1x full-time, and 1x casual/part-time position available. Please apply with your availability & resume.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Clean guest rooms as assigned
• Dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
• Laundry duties
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (i.e.: deep cleaning)
• Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and/ or scrubbing
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs
• Dedication to the guest experience and hotel cleanliness
• Ensure full adherence to all matters relating to hygiene, health, safety and emergency procedures and always promote a safe work environment
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Housekeeping experience in a compatible environment is preferred
• Must be able to do some heavy lifting/pushing when required
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Great attention to detail
• Must be able to work efficiently and without supervision while maintaining quality standards
• Standing for extended periods
• Punctual and reliable
• Honest and trustworthy
• Great listening/communication skills and always willing to learn and grow
• A positive team-player attitude and a strong willingness to learn, you must like to have fun at work!

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
