Are you detail-oriented and take pride in creating spotless, welcoming spaces? Then we have just the job for you! The Savoy Hotel is looking for a full-time Housekeeper to join our team and ensure our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay.
The Housekeeper’s primary role is to clean guest rooms in a 12 room boutique hotel. They shall also provide exceptional services in accordance with the Hotel’s core values, mission, standards. and policies. This is a full-time, permanent position starting ASAP at The Savoy Hotel in beautiful Nelson, BC.
Responsibilities Include:
• Clean guest rooms as assigned
• Dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
• Laundry duties
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (i.e.: deep cleaning)
• Clean building floors by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and/ or scrubbing
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned
• Notify managers concerning the need for repairs
• Dedication to the guest experience and hotel cleanliness
• Ensure full adherence to all matters relating to hygiene, health, safety and emergency procedures and always promote a safe work environment
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications Include:
• 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred
• Must be able to do some heavy lifting/pushing when required
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Great attention to detail
• Must be able to work efficiently and without supervision while maintaining quality standards
• Standing for extended periods
• Punctual and reliable
• Honest and trustworthy
• Great listening/communication skills and always willing to learn and grow
• A positive team-player attitude and a strong willingness to learn, you must like to have fun at work!

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
