“Where the goal of traditional Astrology is to predict the outcome with what can be described as ‘scientific precision’, Humanistic Astrology is primarily oriented to helping a person to be deeply self-aware to support making informed decisions based on alignment with a true or authentic sense of self and purpose.” ~ Michael O’Connor
Tip of the Week:
In sync with the heated political atmosphere, certainly here in Canada and the USA, Mercury in Aries is amplified by Mars in Leo.
Mercury, in turn, is ‘disposited’, or is engaged in a ‘thematic transfer’ with the Sun, which is in Taurus.
The waning Moon will form a conjunction with the Sun (New Moon) on Sunday, April 27 at 7 Taurus 47.
In turn, Taurus is ruled by Venus, which is in the late degrees of Pisces. Based on its exact degree, it shares association with Scorpio and Aquarius, in terms of the influence of thematic layers, yet its ‘direct transfer’ (dispositor) is to Neptune, which is also true of Saturn and the Lunar North Node – which are all in Pisces, and Neptune is in Aries, still within the first degree, or 0 Aries 59, at the time of the New Moon.
This is the alpha degree of the entire Zodiac, symbolic of new beginnings, pioneering initiatives, and, effectively, of change associated with new beginnings guided by pioneering initiatives.
Have a great week,
Michael

Weekly Horoscope:
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
Building upon new foundations is the call now. Yet, perhaps not in the literal sense. It may be that this building process is associated with you, with your ideals, perspectives, attitudes, beliefs, or perhaps it is your overall vibration, which admittedly, would include this list. Either way, you have entered a creative cycle that says build!
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
The Sun in your sign is your cue to take new leads. In this instance, these are associated with looking to the future in terms of dreams, hopes, and wishes too. The means of doing so implies digging deeper somehow. It also includes some form of breakthrough, as though you are in a tunnel and some rock separates you and the open air and freedom.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
You have been called to assume a whole new status, which includes words like maturity, duty, responsibility, and discipline. In the short term, inner work is required. This implies some measure of retreat and quietude to increase your ability and opportunity to really hear the whispers of your soul. This is a summons from your soul.
Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)
A new sense of self is emerging. This refers to you as an individual. In its deeper reaches, this includes the process of individuation. It is a Jungian Psychology term that you can research further. Basically, it includes a process of achieving heightened self-reflective awareness. Some refer to this as shadow work, which implies shedding light on unexplored aspects of your psyche.
Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)
Taurus time is one to get more attention and recognition for yourself. With Venus in Pisces, however, you have to be careful, since for you it implies hidden factors, possibly enemies, or at least adversaries, who could even be family, or close friends. Positively, it presents an opportunity to be seen and heard, which can lead to advancement or promotion.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
Taurus is an inspirational sign and time for you. The focus is on visions, higher-minded thinking, philosophy, ethics, and the power of knowledge in general. Yet, all of these are guided more fully by common sense than idealism. You yearn to communicate your ideas, thoughts, and feelings, yet you are probably wise to do your due diligence of research before you do.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
Taurus can be described as your ‘fatal attraction sign’. This can amount to a swinging pendulum of love and hate, or at least of frustrations, but more generally, as love. This love is usually of the romantic kind, and invariably includes passion, or at least hopefully. Yet, this currently requires you to give more than you might usually.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
Building stronger foundations on relationship fronts is the call now. A creative process is implied. Also, play the long game and do not let impatience interfere with the process of growing deeper roots. Another key now is to acknowledge all that makes you special in terms of your unique gifts, skills, and quality of insight and knowledge to share.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
Changes in your overall lifestyle continue to unfold. It may feel as though you are building a whole new life, or at least a life rhythm and pattern, let alone something material or in particular. This is an expansive time overall, which includes the requirement of creative thinking and the will to take new leads. Whatever your focus, make it a game or fun, for best results.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
Taurus is your creative sign. This includes art, inspiration, innovation, and invention too. Imagination is a keyword when it comes to creativity and is especially emphasized now. So, what do you need to do to enter an imaginative mood or state. Whatever it takes, do it but set the intention not to get hooked on the means once you have achieved the end.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
Taurus is your go-to sign. After you have gone big, and you are ready to go home, where it is peaceful and stable, and hopefully to your garden or sanctuary space. Your focus now is guided by practical wisdom, as with getting things done. As well, the lure of new knowledge and understanding is summoning, the kind that transcends existing perceptions.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Building upon existing knowledge, to fortify the ground of your overall understanding is now in focus. Yet, it is not knowledge or information for its own sake. The goal is to deepen your understanding, sharpen your insight, and increase your awareness in general for practical purposes. Harness what you know and make it more available and profitable.
