Tip of the Week:
The big news in the world of Astrology now is Saturn at the critical 29th degree of Pisces as of May 13, and poised to enter Aries on May 24.
The influence of the 29th degree is one of some mode of overcoming and of delay, requiring patience. This can be especially said of Saturn in Pisces, regarded as the karmic planet in the karmic sign.
Interestingly, when Saturn is in Pisces in a person’s Natal Chart, it generally indicates an absent father, whether literally or figuratively, as with emotionally distant and cool, if not outright cold. The synchronicity of this on the social and political airwaves is apt indeed.
When Saturn enters Aries on May 24, we can expect things to heat up even more than they are currently, thanks in large measure to both Venus and Mars also in fiery Aries and Leo, respectively. Chiron also in Aries since May 2018, indicates a wounded sense of authenticity and a subsequent decline of genuine enthusiasm for life. Given the gravity of drama on the world stage, it is also a relevant synchronicity.
Since Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, whenever a planet enters it, the ignition spark of a new round of destiny is fired.
Interestingly, when Neptune entered Aries on April 28, the day of the publicly shared first phone call between Prime Minister Mark Carney and President Donald Trump took place under a late waning dark Moon. Exactly two weeks earlier, Mark Carney was sworn in as P.M. on March 14 under the light of the Full Moon in Virgo, which is where his Moon is in his Natal Chart. Then again, in the dark of the New Moon, exactly one lunar month after Neptune entered Aries, Mark Carney was proclaimed the winner of the Federal Election with Neptune at the exact first degree of Aries.
Zero degrees Aries in any person’s chart is indicative of a charged area of focus where we want to take initiative in light of the greater theme of our destiny.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
A busy time continues, complete with labours of love on a variety of fronts. Hopefully, none of them will get you into trouble… The emphasis is on practical creativity. Given the season, outside activities are especially inviting. Saturn entering your sign next weekend will add to this overall theme but could also require that you confront any security fears.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
Most creative work requires the groundwork, planning, preparing, clearing, and then foundations. As fully engaged as you likely are in noticeable ways, you are probably also busy making plans for future projects. The current focus includes improvements and refinements of various kinds, requiring you to get right to the roots of any hindrances.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Big changes are brewing. Currently, however, you have the opportunity to coast a bit and enjoy simpler pleasures, with your energy levels running higher all the while. This could include new encounters with old friends. Returns for past efforts will begin to roll in soon, providing you with something of a report card. Positively, your confidence levels will be boosted.
Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)
A process of building and preparing for the future continues. New tools and/or skills are probably required. Discerning what constitutes sound investments is featured. These can be as much about attitude and priorities as financial interests. Meanwhile, fresh starts on professional fronts, or perhaps more generally regarding your social status, are imminent.
Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)
Taurus time is generally one for practical accomplishments for you. This can refer to any activity from gardening to spring cleaning to financial responsibilities and interests. Hopefully, you have been able to enjoy the added emphasis on creativity this year, which includes both new projects and completions of existing ones, and this trend will continue.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
As though you have come out of the mountains and entered a wide valley, it is supporting an expanded vision of reality. So significant are the changes implied in some regards, that it is as though what you once deemed factual, real, and true and under review. At worst, this is shaking your world. Positively, you are intrigued and inspired.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
Taurus time is perhaps the deepest of the year for you. It can include feelings and experiences that can be described as a ‘dark night of the soul’. More generally, it is a good time to do some kind of cleanse, whether literal as with your body or of your living environment, or of stagnant attitudes and emotions, and so on. The emphasis is strongly on relationships.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
Who do you love and how and why? These and other such questions are likely on your mind. Circumstances are pushing you to give more than usual, and more than you might feel inclined to contribute. The time is right to receive guidance and instruction as necessary, or to activate new approaches altogether. What constitutes the higher path now?
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
The steady stream of changes in your daily rhythm and routine that has been underway for years now, let alone months, has entered an important new round. It is leading to a whole new spectrum of relationship engagement. Changes in this regard are likely, but it will likely manifest as a process that will continue through May 2026, at least.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
What fun and games are keeping you happily occupied now? With Venus in Aries currently, creating beauty one way or another, but especially in your living environment, will be a source of inspiration. Mars in Leo, meanwhile, suggests that your ambitions are running strong, so you could well be deep into a bigger project than you bargained for.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
While you are willing to enter the ring to confront opposition, in one regard or another, you may also be wondering if it is worth the effort. This confrontation may be literal in some form, yet there are indications that they are more fully features of your perceptions, and perhaps your self-concept too. A process of growing new roots is indicated.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
As different as your sign is from that of Taurus, it guides your perspectives and priorities in terms of where to best direct your focus and energies. The objective is to achieve maximum results with minimum effort. Yet, sometimes the work required is considerable, pushing you to work harder than usual, which you probably have and are still.
