Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Label Creation Technician to join our team at our factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing labels for our products, ensuring that they meet regulatory standards and company specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for accuracy.
Label Printing Key Responsibilities:
- Create and design labels for various products according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Ensure all labels are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the production team to determine labeling needs and timelines.
- Conduct quality checks on labels to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Maintain and operate label printing equipment, performing routine maintenance as needed.
- Assist in troubleshooting any issues with label production or printing.
- Keep detailed records of label designs, revisions, and production runs.
- Work with the quality assurance team to address any labeling discrepancies.
- Operate label printing equipment (thermal transfer printers, inkjet, etc.).
- Print labels accurately and in a timely manner for daily production needs.
- Maintain label inventories and coordinate with purchasing as needed.
- Troubleshoot minor printing equipment issues and perform basic maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with quality control regrading label approval.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and packaging teams.
- Maintain accurate records of label batches and print logs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in graphic design or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of regulatory labeling requirements in the relevant industry.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
