Tip of the Week:
Samhain, All Hallow’s Eve, or in modern vernacular, Halloween, finds its earliest roots in ancient times. So-called Pagans and all indigenous cultures observed the division of the year by quarters, as with the Solstices and Equinoxes, and by eight to reveal the mid-points between the seasonal start points.
That this division is also the bridge between the division of the year by the Sun and Moon is further testimony to the organic roots of Astrology, which measures the cycles of time and both their rhythmic and synchronistic outer manifestations.
Whatever other changes have occurred over the many millennia due to the steady flow of change, the corresponding seasonal weather is significantly the same as it ever has been since time immemorial, due to the constancy of the Earth/Sun relationship.
It is this relationship that is the true foundation of Astrology, although few are clearly aware of it, ironically, lost in notions of starry authority. This year, the waxing Moon in Pisces aligns extra well with the mysterious, mystical spirit of this time.
That All Hallow’s Eve refers to the night before All Saints Day is also important to consider, which corresponds directly with the Pisces decant of Scorpio, symbolically aligned with the veil between souls still in the physical body, and those who are not.
Astrology is a science of the natural world and our intrinsic and intimate relationship with it, and what can be deemed a ‘natural psychology’. Regardless of how powerful the progeny of our inventiveness might be, it will ever prove soulless and push us back to who we truly are, and lead us back to the full recognition that nature itself is the true power.

Horoscope for the Week:
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
What you might have assumed to be a dip into the deep end will likely prove to be a sweeping adventure. Pulled by irresistible currents and torrential eddies, you are probably wise to go with it rather than resist. Positively, you will undergo experiences that you later recognize as transformational, in which your former self has died and a new you has resurrected.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
While some will boldly say that they are not afraid, wisdom counters, asserting that they should be. Fear can be deemed healthy when it activates our survival instincts and adrenal flows to ardently fight or to take swift flight. Yet, run as you might, any escape will prove a temporary reprieve from the raging battle. Since love is at stake, anchor into your soul and resume your stand with honor.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Mercury in Sagittarius already, and Mars soon to follow, where lovers meet, will have to contend with the tricks, along with the treats. A rebellious push for the future now will be confronted by the prospects of illusions, delusions, denials and deceptions. Yet, patience accompanied by discipline will see you through, provided you are also prepared to pay your dues, which will include removing masks.
Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)
Some cycles are scarier than others. The secret of cycles is that there are many, some large, some small, and they all overlap. So this is one is as short as the cycle of the Moon, which once waxes to full on the fifth, will be just a fortnight away. Of course, days can feel like years when fears are stirring, so be still and slip into soulful silence where screams are subdued by the solace of angels.
Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)
While happy to hide in the privacy of your home, you must deal with any devils who dwell there. Of course, home is where your heart is, literally, so wherever you go, there you are, angels and demons, et al. So remember the echoing whispers of seers and sages of old, and new too, who guide you to the hearth of your heart, the abode of your soul. To enter, sincerely say thank you for it all.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
Contending with the demiurge, the devil of duality is your lot now. Consider: can it exist outside of divine mind? The answer is no, since it transcends all principles of polarity, which no potion or spell can affect. So, since the lord of duality, the demiurge, the demonic deity is a feature of divine design, it merits respect because polarization projected simply amplifies the pain.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
‘If the pleasure remains, is it still a pleasure?’ This riddle is a reminder that change is not simply the law but is a gift. Now this, then that, and how about the other to create contrast that serves the balance, like sweet and sour, witty and dour, the pendulum must swing. Remember, the gritty grind is often the price of glory, just as it is for that mourning black magic brew.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
As the most complex sign among the twelve, holding the power position of eight, symbolic of the untold riches hidden in the deep reaches of the world, testing tasks come with the strengths. These include excavating the buried and concealed treasures, then purifying and transforming them from their raw reality into usable forms, and these themes of processing are prominent presently.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
Holy howling winds, or are they those of the unholy that are piercing the dark night with sounds like a wounded screech owl? Undaunted, you are determined to set out to confront the mystery, once the scouts you sent out return dead or alive. If dead, although you dread to risk more, you will do what you must to determine the source, then clad in battle armor will charge forth with full force.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
Investigations into what makes you unique requires the sheer will to do the shadow work. It includes discovering who you are beyond assumptions, blind spots and social roles. This is a summons to remove masks and shed skins. Recognize and repeal your negative projections to realize that bullies are truly hiding cowards and to own it all.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
Now is the time to assert your power and confront your fears. Fear of failure is real, but the greatest failure is not trying at all. Obtaining new knowledge and skills is featured and like carving a pumpkin, it begins with the first cut which classically begins with the stem in the head symbolic of old attachments. Then, once the guts are removed, continue slicing according to plan.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Some nights are darker than others. Even though the moonlight glows, what lurks in the shadows causes spirits to shudder. Yet, you have been summoned to settle old scores. Since left to rot, these erode your core, you can’t afford to deny them anymore. Leaving all debts to defer, they will still be there upon your return, after the burn… So, do the deeds that will set you free and scorn the scorch.
