• This full-time, temporary position starts ASAP until November 2026.
• Work Location: The work will be primarily at the festival site near Salmo, BC.

The Site Labourer is responsible for providing physical labour and support while working alongside the construction, site maintenance and equipment operator team to complete assigned projects. They also support other teams as dispatched, helping ensure smooth operations across the site. This role requires physical stamina, a team-oriented attitude, and the ability to follow directions safely and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Complete all safety compliance software sign-offs, pre-trip inspections, daily equipment checks, and attend safety meetings.
• Assist tradespeople and supervisors with assigned construction, production, and farming projects.
• Load, unload, and move materials, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
• Set up and manage safety perimeters, including traffic control signs, cones, and barricades, as needed.
• Perform general labour duties and provide support to departments as dispatched.
• Follow all WorkSafeBC and SMF safety procedures, wear required PPE, and adhere to site safety protocols.
• Prioritize tasks effectively, escalate important information when necessary, and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Minimum valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract; ability to operate manual (standard) transmissions.
• Confident driving a trailer off the road.
• Basic knowledge and experience using hand and power tools safely.
• Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.
• Previous experience in construction, festival, or similar hands-on environments is an asset.
• Must provide and wear CSA-approved steel-toe boots suitable for all scheduled shifts and work conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs repeatedly.

Pay Rate:
$20-25 per hour based on experience.
