breast cancer awareness month

Breast Cancer Canada

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is just around the corner

This October we’re bringing you more ways than ever to learn, connect, and take action.
We’re kicking things off with The Next Chapter, a free four-part education series featuring oncologists, dietitians, and survivors on navigating life beyond treatment.
We also want to hear from you. Our latest patient survey is looking to better understand the realities of hot flashes and night sweats during treatment, so we can help close the gaps in care.
And whether you’re an individual ready to create your own fundraiser or a business looking to partner with purpose, there’s a place for you to get involved this October.

Patient Survey: Your Experience Can Shape the Future of Breast Cancer Care
Breast cancer treatment can affect more than the cancer itself. For many, hormonal changes from endocrine therapy, chemotherapy, or medically induced menopause bring on hot flashes and night sweats that touch nearly every part of daily life: sleep, energy, relationships, and work.
Breast Cancer Canada wants to better understand what people are experiencing, and whether they’re getting the information and support they need. Your voice will help us close the gaps in care and support, and move us closer to a breast cancer experience shaped by real, lived insight.
Create Your Own Fundraiser This October
This October, turn your passion into progress. Create your own fundraiser and help fuel the next breakthrough in breast cancer research, whether that’s a personal challenge, a workplace campaign, or an event with the people who matter most to you.
Every fundraiser hosted and every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where no one in Canada faces a breast cancer diagnosis without access to the best possible care and treatment.Create Your Own Fundraiser
