Tip of the Week:
The influence of last week’s historic Solar Eclipse enters its first quarter turn, symbolic of increased determination and decisive action. Since it occurred at the critical 29 degrees Virgo, a theme of patient determination is featured in the otherwise dynamic tone, contributed by other factors.

Sun and Mercury in intellectually proactive Libra, is supported by Mars passionately, even ruthlessly, Scorpio-determined. Grace under pressure applies well to the overall dynamic.

Venus in Virgo meanwhile, is contributing a more cautious reserve to the plot. Where Mars wants results yesterday, Venus is inclined to be more cautious, to deliberate and read the fine print and ask a series of questions associated with the realistic implications of such obsessive resolve expressed by her celestial lover, before diving into that whirlpool of passion. Sure, romance and passion are great, she reflects, but what about the other 93 or so percent of life, you know, the practical material, psychological, emotional, spiritual and social realities associated with healthy, enduring relationship realities too?

This offers an allegorical example of ‘her’ using her discernment (Air) to weigh the practical realities (Earth) or the feverish emotions (Water) lured by the dreams and fantasies of Neptune in Aries (Fire). Using the model of Astrology, founded on principles of 4, (as with Earth, Air, Fire and Water, North, West, South, and East, Body, Intellect (Mind), Emotions/Feelings and Soul) contribute to thinking holistically, which is truly, ‘holy’.

Learning to think ‘astrologically’ transcends the specific aspiration to be able to interpret Astrology Charts. Since Astrology is an archetypal language of the soul, applied to its incarnation in the body/personality vehicle (as you, me, they and them too…) having even a firmer grasp of it, especially if it adheres to its foundational principles, is like an initiation into seeing life through the eyes of your soul, and not just your ego. Like supporting your perceptions with a telescope, binoculars and a microscope too, your perceptual abilities are greatly enhanced with technical tools, which applies to the language that Astrology is.

Desires for deeper engagement with the significant other(s) in your life is guiding your focus. Stagnant patterns are your main target. The deeper question includes determining how you are contributing to them. Healthy habits are great, but in accordance with the law of change, they must be updated from time to time, like now.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Creativity and beauty are archetypal lovers. By inviting them into your home, you will feel inspired to refresh, clean, clear, uplift, improve and/or embellish your home environment. More willing than usual to do the work required, you could even surprise yourself by the efforts you are willing to make. Focusing to feel more secure and confident is a guiding theme.

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Mars in Scorpio indicates that a passionate resolve is flowing through your veins. That you want to achieve it gracefully and diplomatically, and direct it to practical achievements, is the fine print. In the bigger picture, you are on the threshold of a whole new and significant chapter, but the greater push is still several months away.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

Many new thoughts and ideas are streaming through your mind. Positively, you are experiencing epiphanies and intuitional downloads of awareness and realization. The Libra factor in your chart indicates that your income tends to come in waves. Recognizing the pattern of these is the key to overcoming the emotional swings that accompany this tidal dynamic. As well, deciphering new means of generating a healthier flow of abundance and prosperity is on your mind. The next step is to ‘take action’.

Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)

The Sun in your sign is destined to activate new initiatives and take pioneering leads. The timeline for this is prolonged for a couple of months, due to the fact that the coming New Moon on October 21 is in the late degrees of Libra. Yet, this does not mean wait, but be patient with the process. Mars in Scorpio is helping to stimulate a patient, yet persistent resolve.

Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)

Back-to-back eclipses and two New Moons at the ‘critical degrees’ of Virgo are activating waves of destiny for everyone. Luckily for you, they are largely indicative of inspiration and opportunities. Good thing too, because all the far planets’ positions are exerting pressures to adjust and adapt to their evolutionary purpose. Whatever you decide, take the high road.

Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)

Pushes and perhaps shoves on relationship fronts and directly involving your career, are the destined activations now. Step 1: keep an open mind. 2: do any inner work required to clear the demons of blame, judgment, entitlement, and self-doubt. Thinking less and increasing ‘sincere’ gratitude are the angelic helpers. Say ‘yes’ to the new adventures downloading into your awareness field now.

Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

Striking a balance between your public and professional life, on one hand, and your family life on the other is a core theme of destiny emphasized for you now. The balance will shift to the professional front this week. Yet there is another aspect, and that is quality time shared with friends, which is also important going forward.

Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)

Libra can be described as your big picture sign. It presents a challenge of seeing beyond your projections, which implies identifying them. Qualifying how you are subjectively seeing things, as opposed to assuming that you see things as they are, is a golden key to increasing your objectivity. Approach perceptions playfully, acknowledging the magnitude of interpretation.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Ardent desires to break through habitual approaches to refine your character and make improvements wherever you deem them necessary, is a central theme now. Outlining what these are is a good idea, because the overall process for this round will require some time, like perhaps months, at least. Outline your ideals and back them up with goals.

Tip of the Week:
‘Eclipse Season’ began with a critical 0-degree New Moon in Virgo on August 22/23, was followed by a Lunar Eclipse at 15 Pisces 23 on September 7, and now culminates as a Partial Solar Eclipse on September 21 at 29 Virgo 05.

Much has changed on the world stage since that first event, as the revolutions of evolution build momentum at this critical juncture of our times and human history in general.

The coming New Moon on September 21 (the day prior to Autumn Equinox) is the second of two in Virgo, but this one is at the critical 29th degree of Virgo, and is a Solar Eclipse, making it significantly more special, and impactful. Although it is a ‘Partial Eclipse’, this does not deter from the fact that it is an Eclipse and, therefore, qualifies as a true ‘Super Moon’.

Since it is the 2nd of two in Virgo, it is destined to manifest as a continuation and amplification of the initial event of the Lunar Eclipse two weeks ago, which can be understood as the ‘warm-up’ event to this one…

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Pushing for change and a fairer deal on relationship fronts is more than on your mind. As willing as you are to negotiate, you are not so inclined to compromise your sense of fairness and what you feel you need. Ideally, you will recognize the same desire in significant others and honor them equally, and with recognition that some changes take time.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Circumstances are pushing you to create a more balanced lifestyle that aligns with your destined needs and personal desires. Changes in public and professional status are also featured, and the push is to diversify your skills and talents somehow. You might even find interest in pursuing more than one direction, as with a side hustle, perhaps.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Beauty is divine, and you feel inspired to bring more of it into your life. This could include decorating, or renovating, or artistic expressions, or perhaps simply choosing to shift your perspective and attitude to see the beauty that already exists. Nature holds special appeal and the changing colors of nature associated with the season is a good start.

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Shifting the way we perceive things is often all the change that is needed. However, sometimes more literal action is required, and this is probably one of those times. The time is right to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get down to the bottom of things. Clearing the clutter might be all that is needed, but it does appear that you have bigger plans.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

Virgo plays a key role regarding your financial interests. Since it is an Earth element sign, you tend to be especially practical, yet with an emphasis on investments as well as savings. Many changes have occurred over the past couple of years or so in this regard, and now you are eager to tilt the scales again, in your favor.

Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Activations towards new or at least fresh initiatives should be evident by now, but if not, they will be soon. You are in a proactive and determined mood to express yourself in ways you deem represent beauty, and you are interested in generating returns for your efforts. Fortunately, your confidence levels among friends or associated with groups is running strong.

The Lunar Eclipse likely had the effect of awakening you to the realization that you need to make some changes to genuinely get your needs met. You yearn for a better balance but realize that it will not happen unless you shake-it-up somehow. Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)

Virgo can be credited with supporting your ability to pay attention to the details of the bigger picture. Like a telescope, it allows you to zero in on the bigger story. Acquiring and/or sharing knowledge and instruction related to needed skills and actions is indicated. Expect that you will be making measured changes to how you get things done.

Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)

Like a geologist examining the rock and mineral deposits in a deep cavern, you are eager to gain precise knowledge of the subtle reaches of things associated with key investments. You are willing to venture some risks, if carefully calculated ones, but you want other inputs, perhaps something of a round table discussion or at least intelligent exchanges.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Life is all about relationships and there are indications that yours are destined for change. These could amount to practical improvements combined with creative opportunities. Tip of the Week:
As the Moon approaches the final quarter on Sunday, September 14, revealing the ever-interesting light of the half-moon, it will disintegrate to total darkness once again. What is interesting about the New Moon is that it is completely dark, symbolic of completely Yin to us here on Earth, yet the ‘dark side of the Moon’ is totally illumined, ignited by the solar light, inseminated by the Yang force of the Sun. This is why the New Moon constitutes a ‘seed event’.

Beyond mere phenomenology, its destined influence is measurable based on the positions of the planets from our perspective here on Earth, in turn constituting a unique whole that was never experienced before, not will even be again, just as is true of a newborn child. Similar yet distinctly unique, every New Moon ‘embodies’ a distinctly unique theme of destiny.

Learning Astrology by way of the Moon reveals a relationship between Sun, Moon and Earth and is among the best ways to learn, because it invites observation, and not just conceptual understanding. The basic message is the importance of giving fully. This could amount to giving more, but maybe you already give a lot. The flipside is the return, which should be a balanced reciprocation of your contributions.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Health is that word that is core to the word ‘success’. Success without health, at least mental and especially emotional happiness, is not really success. It may be achievement, but what is its value? Assessing how you can feel more fulfilled is a central theme associated with these eclipses, both the recent lunar and now the coming solar.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Creating beauty can be deemed a spiritual activity. Aspiring to emulate the endless beauty of nature, yet in a personal way and close to home is a natural desire. Of course, all things take time, and other investments too, the most important of which is your heart. So, be patient with the process and do it for love above all.

Cancer (Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Changes close to home can be expected subject to this eclipse couplet. That home is where your heart is, literally, is worth considering. It is an interesting notion that we do not live ‘in the world’ so much as in our own mind, is worth considering. Of course, your mind includes how you feel. A golden key in this regard is to count your blessings.

Leo (Jul 22 – Aug 23)

Nurturing new perspectives, strategies and approaches is a feature of this eclipse season. It comes down to getting clear on your values and priorities. Suffering often comes from lack of clarity, confusion, indecision and subsequent procrastination, frustration and even depression. Focus to identify what you want and clarify how to achieve it.

Two back-to-back New Moon’s in your sign and a Total Lunar Eclipse in Pisces in between, point to changes on relationships fronts. These need not be epic, dramatic and painful, but they do indicate both feelings and events that will shift your perspective at least, and possibly your approach and lifestyle.

Deepening the relationship with yourself can be accurately understood as a spiritual process. However, it can simply be about making needed adjustments to feel more aligned, healthier and happier. A transformational process is a destined feature of these back-to-back eclipses. They are destined to activate a quest for new opportunities. Achieving a new sense of abundance is indicated. Perhaps you feel you deserve a raise or a promotion. The key is to acknowledge yourself, yet also be open to support from your fans.

Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Changes in your relationship life are destined due to these eclipses. While this invariably includes others, the relationship is with your own self as well and includes deciphering how you can be more creatively fulfilled. The basic answer includes new strategies and approaches. Once you have determined what these are, begin without delay.

Tip of the Week:
The next Full Moon Lunar Eclipse that occurs on Sunday, September 7 at 15 Pisces 23 is the big news now.

A Full Moon is best understood as the culmination of the growth of the seed, the harvest, the fulfillment of the destined purpose as revealed by the New Moon, which is the seed event. It occurred on August 22/23 at 0 Virgo, generally symbolic of new initiatives oriented to improve, fix or repair.

A hard aspect by Uranus in Gemini with that New Moon in August indicated a ‘shaker’ quality, effectively pushing for change, and was amplified by Saturn and Neptune in Aries, pushing us all to let go of the past to make way for new chapters.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

This Lunar Eclipse is destined to awaken you more fully to realize your dreams and/or answer your soul’s calling. For new, inspired feelings and visions might be enough. However, taking note and outlining a creative plan or at least a weave of ideas will help bring them down to Earth. Ideas assume power when they are committed in writing.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

The art of making improvements to achieve greater degrees of balance, harmony, flow and beauty reveals your relationship with Virgo. While the shift from August to September does not officially determine the end of summer, which is Autumn Equinox some 3 weeks from now, many people casually interpret this time to be the beginning of the fall season.

Saturn Retrograde re-entering Pisces on September 1, Mercury entering Virgo, (the sign it rules) on September 2, and Uranus turning Retrograde on September 5/6 are some of the main highlights for this transition period.

Saturn’s re-entry into Pisces indicates its final period of disintegration that began in early March 2023. Saturn will only re-enter Aries again in mid-February 2025, so for the next 5.5 months, we can expect successive waves of more disintegration of realities that were perceived as ‘norms’ and of companies and institutions that have been prominent in our times.

Since Saturn will retreat back to 25 Pisces 09 by late November, if you have planets or angles at this degree or higher, in any sign, but especially Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius, you can expect to experience the weight of Saturn to push you to let go and move on.

The first of two consecutive New Moons in Virgo occurs today, or August 22/23, the date depending on your time zone. Of initial significance is the fact that both lunation cycles(New Moons) will occur at the critical (Anaretic) degrees of 0 and 29 of Virgo. Since there are 30 degrees in a sign and since there are 29.5 days from one New Moon to the next, this event is not entirely rare. Yet, it is still significant enough and worthy of mention and attention. The basic fact is that both lunations are anchored in Virgo, the sign of analysis and critical thinking.

Since Mercury rules Virgo, it will play a special role.

For this first lunation cycle, Mercury is in Leo. While Mercury is often challenged in Leo, it is well-aspected, supporting original thoughts and breakthroughs in perception of what is deemed ‘reality’. Generally, as a whole, the New Moon chart reveals an edgy, rebellious, or revolutionary tone and can also be deemed to be both deep, dynamic and mysterious and factual, skeptical and sobering all at the same time!
