Scorpio season slips into the second period. Mars now in Scorpio as of October 30 is quite in sync with the fact that November is a Universal 16/7 month. This is a karmic number. It can be interpreted to be a renovation project, of sorts. Yet, it also aligns with the Eastern spiritual concept of self-transcendence.   More commonly, it can manifest as the toppling of old institutions or the decline of or fall from fame for some. In the most positive sense,  it can result in some form of initiation to a higher level, yet involving an arduous process.

Venus enters Capricorn on November 5^th and will synchronize with yet another revolutionary push linked to the economy. The push towards a digital economy and the steady encroachment of cryptocurrency is the most obvious expression. It appears that this process must come by virtue of the existing system crashing. Of course, it is likely that deeply invested and high levels of economic power are pushing for this.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

In the lead-up to the Scorpio New Moon, Mars enters its traditional sign it rules. Scorpio is the most mysterious of all the signs of the zodiac, even more so than Pisces which rules oceans, the subconscious mind, imagination and unconscious beliefs. Scorpio rules the underground waters, fissures and cavernous lakes of the world, also known as the Telluric Realm. It is the sign with the most range encompassing dark and light. 

The modern ruler is Pluto, yet Mars continues to play a very significant role, like Batman’s partner, Robin. The sign of death and rebirth, sex, taxes, insurance and inheritances is characterized by these complex and powerful themes.

Pluto in Capricorn, the sign of governments, where it has been since 2008, is synchronizing with the transformation of governments to emerge as more powerful and draconian at a scale never seen before due to the fact that this process is occurring on a global scale.

Scorpio time begins on October 23 under the waning yet still bright Moon. Ever a mysterious time, at least here in the middle reaches of the Northern Hemisphere, this 1-month cycle coincides with very noticeable shorter days of sunlight, pinchy-cold weather often accompanied by dense overcast skies and rain bordering on sleet, as leaves fall from trees with accelerating magnitude. So, yes, the season matches the themes associated with the sign which include death and decay, yet ever also with the promise of rebirth, once the transformation and regeneration process is complete. This year, Mars and Mercury will accompany the Sun, adding to the potency on October 30 and November 5 respectively.  As destiny has it, the Sun will form an exact hard square to Saturn coinciding with Halloween adding weight and intrigue. Fortunately, Venus in Sagittarius will help uplift the overall energy pattern but due to its correspondence with Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, it will coincide with the drum beats of revolution.

Tip of the Week:

By now, the Libra New Moon seed is showing its colors. The triple conjunction of Sun, Moon and Mars in the Aquarius Decan was packed with potency. Yet, the exact degree was linked to Neptune which was unaspected. So, it is possible that some of the otherwise charged potency fizzled as a dud, in terms of outer events. Much of the expression may also have occurred behind the scenes and/or at subconscious levels, symbolic of Pisces. Positively, it activated spiritual realizations. Yet, the Full Moon in Aries on October 20^th is bound to pack a punch, true to the nature of this combination. Expect it to be laced with revolutionary fervor with ardent determination to get to the bottom of things once and for all. With so many injuries and death stemming from the vaccine, many will likely also be pushing for justice and not simply acknowledgement. So, despite the wet fuse linked to unaspected Neptune, the predicted drama linked to the Moon still in its full phase at Autumn Equinox will manifest.

Tip of the Week:

The waxing of the Libra triple planet New Moon (Sun + Moon + Mars all at 13 Libra) that occurred on October 6 is now underway. Looking at the chart as a whole, which is the key to understanding the destiny theme behind every New Moon, Venus, the ruling planet for Libra, is in Scorpio, the sign of espionage. Adding to this charged triple conjunction; Uranus is also positioned at 13 degrees, but of Taurus. This is a reflection of the economic reset underway. Mercury retrograde at 20-degrees Libra emphasizes heightened information exchange, nervously shared. Pluto was ‘stationary direct’ (SD) which means that it was at its most apparent standstill. The outer synchronicity of this stands to be a strong counter push from mainstream authorities to social revolutionary opposition. It is worth noting that the relative state of freedom and democracy we all enjoy currently, or until recently, was hard won by revolutionaries who recognized that freedom traded for security leads to having neither.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

A dance of diplomacy reveals a mix of high and powerful leaps, graceful pirouettes and brilliant choreography. This metaphor refers to strong communications and exchanges on relationship fronts. Horoscope for the Week:  October 1, 2021

Tip of the Week:

October begins with the Moon in its last quarter, Mercury is retrograde and Pluto is the planet of highest degree. Altogether, this illustrates some of the complexities of our times. Harmony-oriented Venus will assume the position of highest degree planet by the 2^nd but due to its  transit  through Scorpio,  the intensity and intrigue will  not only not be abated, it will be exacerbated. Venus will hold this position until after the New Moon occurring at 13 Libra which will on October 6. Thus, the power plays from authorities continue. By October 7,  Venus will yield the lead back to Pluto and it will  hold it until  the 18^th when the sun takes the lead, holding it for just shy of a week, just long enough to pass it on to Mars. What all this implies is that we can expect governments to play hard ball at a whole new level well into October before being countered by an ardent push back from rebellious factions.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Mercury retrograde could have the effect of increasing your charm. The main issue is that it could lead to saying what you think others want to hear. This step away from your usual assertiveness could win approval, but prove costly. Meanwhile, your sights are set on the future and in your heart of hearts you want to fight the good fight.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)

A busy time working on important changes, both within and without, are underway. You are willing to do your part, but you also want help.
