Happy Summer Solstice!

The Sun entered Tropical Cancer marking the official moment of Solstice at 8:51 pm GMT. This year it comes with an extra bang due to the Moon waxing to Full, which is exact in the evening of June 22 in Greenwich UK at 1:08 am. It is believed that the impact of the Full Moon is strongest prior to the actual exact opposition to the Sun. While this assertion is somewhat debatable due to a variety of other variable factors, it is true that the build-up process can prove quite intense, dramatic, and pivotal. Maybe you are feeling that today (Friday).

Interestingly, Summer Solstice and the longest hours of daylight of the year that it implies, is symbolically associated with the Full Moon. The exact degree of the Full Moon is 1 degree Capricorn 07 minutes. Since Capricorn’s ruling planet, Saturn is in Pisces, it serves to ‘disposit’ the energy. Of itself, Saturn in Pisces has a disintegrating effect.

This means that this Full Moon could well manifest as old structures dissolving. The structures could refer to actual outer realities, like associations, or to actual physical things, or more psychological themes like attitudes, perceptions, interpretations, and even to lifestyle rhythms and patterns.

Weekly Horoscope:

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
The solstice energies are activating familial themes close to home. These could of course extend to the physical aspects of your home, but there is a distinctly emotional theme at play. At worst, since the Moon is the ruler of Cancer and is associated with the ever-changing dynamic of moods, or moodiness, it can be expected as part of the plot.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
Cancer time tends to be a busy one for you. Upon reflection, you will notice that either by inspired choice, or circumstances, you find yourself busier than usual or at least covering more varied ground. This can prove to be a stretch, but it can also prove quite stimulating and productive too. Weave creative and playful activities into the mix for best results.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
The Sun in Cancer triggers an association with your overall priorities in life. There is usually a close connection with family, or friends deemed familial. An impulse to be more organized and to get your ‘house in order’ also comes to the fore. All the above, but especially the latter includes more sobering realities and duties that equate to very real, personal responsibilities.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
The Sun in your Sign accompanied by Mercury and Venus signals a time of taking new initiatives. It includes both the desire and perhaps also the need to express yourself. A creative and artistic theme is implied, but it could also lead to sharing thoughts and feelings with significant others that you would not normally…expose.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
Although summer tends to be a time for getting out and about, you are likely already feeling quite happy to hover close to home, and even there find yourself happy in your office, studio, garden, or whatever other private place equates to creative activity and productivity. There are some deeper themes at play this year so navigate the complex waters mindfully.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Identifying and connecting with your sense of individuality is an important theme for you when the Sun is in Cancer. With Mercury and Venus there as well, it is extra strong this year, and the New Moon in early July will amplify it. Other factors include a process of self-honesty in association with what you feel you truly want and need.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
Activations in your public and professional life and your overall social status are shaking your world. You could be seeking a new job or living situation altogether. Health considerations and concerns are likely contributing factors, your own and that of significant others. Old associations may also be ending, as if dissolving before your eyes.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
The time has come to step back to see a bigger picture. Your own life situation is probably involved, but it could also be that of the future of things in a more general, social, and political sense, as in the human condition. That said, focus on your sphere of influence even if that of your sphere of concern has increased.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
You have entered a period of change, and perhaps of personal transformation. Positively, it will lead to dreams coming true. Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
Your relationship life and perhaps especially that of your family, home, living situation, and lifestyle are all undergoing activations. Circumstances could be pushing you to get to the bottom of things. Positively, a deep resolve is present to help you push through and beyond outer blocks and inner procrastination. Focus on meeting the needs of each and all involved.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
The health and quality of your overall lifestyle is up for review. Adjustments are required and some of these may prove awkward and uncomfortable. You should also be aware of what constitutes ‘dues’ that you must pay, whether literally or figuratively, as with certain required efforts, to meet the demands of entrance to the next level.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
The Sun in Cancer tends to coincide with a particularly creative cycle. Thanks to Mercury and Venus there as well, this stands to be extra true for you now. Mercury will be there until July 2 and Venus until the 12th, so use this time to at least activate and create projects whose time has come. On the other hand, you might simply enjoy playtime with family.

It is Mercury’s turn to form an exact conjunction with the Sun in Tropical Gemini today, on June 14.

Last week it was Venus. While Venus exactly conjunct the Sun is generally considered a negative influence having a ‘drying’ effect on one’s overall sense of affection and expression, Mercury is deemed quite auspicious. When exactly conjunct the Sun (from our perspective here on Earth), it is described as ‘Cazimi’, a status shared by the Moon on occasion, which translates as ‘in the heart’.

Cazimi Mercury, especially in someone’s Birth Chart generally confers an indication of higher intellectual abilities and a heightened ability to perceive life more objectively. As ever, the whole chart must be considered, and there are always exceptions, but when in Gemini, the results can prove quite exceptional.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
Due to the strong Gemini factor currently, a busy cycle continues. Positively, you have used this impulse to increase your social outreach. Since Mars entered Taurus a week ago, the pace has likely been slowing yet transferring the focus to productivity. This trend will continue and with Mercury and Venus entering Cancer on June 17, the focus on home and family will deepen.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
You have likely been covering a lot of ground of late, even more than usual. This multi-tasking influence will progress and evolve to new stages and frequencies yet will continue. Positively, the shift is to increased creativity, a momentum that will steadily build over the coming many weeks. This is your cue to shift into maestro mode.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
The Sun in our own sign tends to manifest as impulses and synchronicities to take new leads. It may seem all in the flow of circumstances, but it really is the outer expression of a divine blueprint and timing. This weekend could prove especially good for socializing, which will linger for a while, yet ironically shift to more internal moods, despite the culminating Full Moon.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
Mercury and Venus entering your sign in close tandem on June 17, and then the Sun on June 20 marking Summer Solstice, is an exciting momentum for you. With these factors, your energies will rise along with the inspiration to express yourself more fully and creatively. Tip of the Week:

The recent Gemini New Moon hosted a stellium of planets, including the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, and Jupiter. The general result of this influence will to be busier on a variety of fronts and be more social.

Of course, how it is contributing to important themes of destiny for any given person must be assessed on an individual basis, in combination with other factors.

I mentioned earlier this year that 2024 is a year of consecutive ‘stelliums’ which occurs when there are three or more planets in a sign. This year they have all, and will continue, to be five and six-planet stelliums. This is quite in keeping with the fact that this is the Year of the Dragon, the mythic tempter of fates.

Jupiter in Gemini is especially significant because it will transit through the sign of twins for an entire year. Jupiter in Gemini is generally considered to be a challenging sign placement subject to tendencies to get scattered and mentally disoriented; the proverbial ‘losing sight of the forest for the trees.’

However, with awareness, this negative tendency can be overcome, and the influence can be harnessed to be extra productive.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
A restless urge to venture out is strong with Jupiter in Gemini. Travel is a distinct possibility. You could satisfy the impulse by simply rediscovering your locality, to return to familiar places yet to experience them ‘as though for the first time’. Family ties are indicated, and this trend will deepen over the coming weeks.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
The Gemini emphasis is likely keeping you extra busy of late, and this trend will continue, especially strong through to late July and generally all year. Much focus will be directed to home and family, and progressively so. Getting clear on your direction is extra important for the sake of the productivity you probably desire.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
An expansive cycle is likely carrying you to new places, heights, and perspectives. You probably have a lot to say, even more than usual and you want to be heard. The time is right to launch new initiatives, if doing so is a feature of your destiny. A learning curve is implied, so focus on being a listening and critically thinking student as much as a teacher.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
A period of much retreat is underway. It is likely to be needed after what probably amounted to be an extra busy cycle over the past several months. This retreat cycle will last for a couple more weeks at most, so get it in now. At deeper levels, you could be dealing with a tendency to worry. If so, notice it and focus on analyzing less and expressing gratitude more.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
A creative and inventive influence is being activated by this Gemini wave. Ideally, you will be able to harness and direct it towards interests that have been waiting for their moment, perhaps even years. There is an emphasis on study so do your diligence in this regard and you will likely be well rewarded.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
Your sign and Gemini share Mercury as your ruling planet in common. For you, the emphasis is more fully on critical analysis. This can prove extra helpful when directed towards practical activities. The biggest danger is when such concentrated mental focus does not have a direction, in which case it tends to simply be criticism. So, direct it constructively to your career.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
The airy influence of Gemini will likely prove inspirational and uplifting to your spirits. A philosophical influence is extra emphasized, and this could support you to see silver linings that were not so apparent previously. Tip of the Week:

2024 is a Universal 8-Year. It is determined by simply adding the numbers in the year. This type of logic would be difficult for more linear, scientific, and materialistic minds because, upon reflection, the notion that it is actually 2024 is somewhat debatable, given that modern civilization amounts to at least six thousand years.

And there are very old cultures with different calendars and year counts. So which calendar holds the most authority?

The best answer is the one that is in popular use, and to which we agree upon, which is the Gregorian Calendar. As the game of thrones and empires go, it is the one that has prevailed. So, due to our collective agreement, we are creating reality around this year count, and it therefore corresponds with the Numerology which measures cycles both generally, individually, and personally.

What this suggests is that the mystics of old, and the mystical branch of science called ‘quantum physics’ are correct when they say that what we deem ‘hard reality’ is much more fluid and relative than it may seem. In this regard, existence can be understood to ultimately be some kind of ‘simulation’, a hologram, or a divine matrix. The paradoxical twist is that while this may be ‘ultimately true’ it remains a hard reality to the multitude or multifarious life forms and beings that live ‘in it’, in this dimension, which includes human beings. Yet, what makes us distinct from other species and other mammals, is that due to distinct factors, we are co-creators and not merely separate objects in an indifferent, objective universe.

Further, our co-creative faculties are not simply the result of materialistic evolutionary forces or even the notion of gene-splicing by advanced inter-dimensional aliens. This co-creative faculty is much more intrinsic than either of those such notions, which are bulky and sluggish by comparison.

Understanding this mystical, magical matrix that we call ‘reality’ can be approached by a deeper understanding of Numerology and its archetypal roots, which is also based on Sacred Geometry. Learn more in my new blog post: Introduction to Numerology – Numbers By Nature.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
It is likely that over the past several weeks you have experienced the dichotomy of feeling both more grounded, yet also busier. The busier part is a feature of the season yet is inflated by Jupiter in Gemini. Since Mercury is still in Taurus where it will remain for several more days, you are likely to be able to focus on practical matters.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
The Taurus lunation cycle has likely synchronized with a variety of new initiatives. As if suddenly, the urge to ‘do it all’ came to the fore. This impulse will continue for many months, actually. Positively, you will be able to accomplish a great deal. Negatively, you could find yourself spread too thin. So, take a hint and avoid scattering.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Jupiter tends to have an uplifting, inspirational, and exuberant impact. This overall feeling should be quite evident by now. It may feel as though you have been given a new lease on life. Optimism, enthusiasm, and a general feeling of excitement for life are examples of the mood that Jupiter in one’s Sun Sign produces, but there can always be exceptions like overwhelm.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
While others are gleefully riding the dragon and feeling the euphoria it tends to produce, you may find yourself feeling more cautious. More thoughts, angles, and levels to consider is an example. Gemini in your horoscope is associated with a visionary perspective on the future. It includes a weave of rationale, philosophy, and a spirit of adventure. Risk and exploration are keywords in this regard. With Mercury lumbering through Taurus, you are likely to still be in the research phase. Gemini time tends to increase your attention to the details, yet there is another side as well, just like the two hemispheres of the brain. Air Sign Gemini is a match to that of your own, and such alignments tend to prove inspirational and confidence-boosting. You are already in the initial curve in the turn, but it is about to get sharper yet, perhaps even with hairpin events. The Gemini cycle is now in full swing. Here at the mid-point of the Equator and the North Pole, we experience the mean point of the seasonal weather patterns. While there are many variables regarding the weather and climate in general, from altitude to large bodies of water, the particularities of the geography of large regions, and now in our modern world to the direct and indirect influences of modern technology and the results of it, we still experience both the specific cast of the Sun’s light and the corresponding rhythms of nature. Western Astrology is based on this consistent factor.

On May 23, Venus formed a lovely and auspicious conjunction to Jupiter in Taurus, and both planets formed a lovely sextile to Neptune in Pisces, all at the critical 29th degree.

This sensual and fragrant constellation of factors all occurred while bathed in the culminating light of the Full Moon in Jupiter-ruled Sagittarius. Hopefully, you were able to tune in and feel and experience the rapture of these alignments, which linger on even now.

In close context to this complex enchantment, Venus also entered Gemini and Jupiter follows suit on May 25, which is among the most significant events in the Astrology world. The twist is that Jupiter has a mixed reputation in Gemini, just as does Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Aquarius. So, enjoy the season with both feet on the ground and be ready to adapt to the accelerating currents of change.

Mercury entered Taurus on May 15, joining forces there with the Sun, Venus, Jupiter, and Uranus to produce a sign stellium. This is quite in keeping with the garden and planting season, here in the upper latitudes.

By May 17, Mercury will form a bi-annual square with Pluto, which is currently in Aquarius. The fixed mode of these two signs implies a slower, plodding pace, but which could still prove productive, perhaps even more than usual.

The Sun enters Gemini time on May 20 this year to begin the last month of spring.

Neptune hovering at 29 Pisces contributes to the overall tone revealing a blend of placid, dreamy, and stable.

While the Moon will wax to Full in Sagittarius on May 23, stimulating a boost of fiery inspiration, the Taurus factor will keep the mood grounded and perhaps even subdued.
