I am concerned by a Nelson trend in retail business. Before, it was “the customer is always right” which indicated respect and deference in serving the public. But today, (because of region? age group? mindset?) this is not being taught. I can think of 3 times recently when it was the employee that was supported in front of and in spite of the customer’s presence. I am one who values customer service so much, I implore employers to give this a think. I shop more south, customer service is great!
