Red Dress Day, marked annually on May 5th (Tuesday, May 5, 2026), is a national day of awareness and action to honour Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+). Across Canada, people wear red, hang red dresses, and hold walks or vigils to remember victims and demand justice
