FLASH NEWS!!!! $8075.00 RAISED!!
I am so excited to let the community know that my donation drive I held through the Christmas holidays was very sucessful. I challenged the community to donate to the Nelson Community Food Centre till the New Year, I would match dollar for dollar up to $3000.00! Well $3875.00 was raised by so many amazing Kootenay Folks. I raised another $1100.00 from some of my sponsors for my Breakfast with Santa Event. And I personally donated $3100.00. So this makes the grand total of $8075.00.

As some of you are aware that I took a break from Breakfast with Santa this year, but didn’t want the Food Centre to lose out! Well they didn’t!!!

One more thing…my Santa (Barry Conklin) moved away a few months ago and he has been with me for 8 years with this event!
My dear friend Benjie left this sweet gift at my door the other day…A Santa Suit! So sweet!! I am looking forward to finding a new Santa to carry on this amazing family event for years to come!
