Tip of the Week:
The Sun in Cancer forms a conjunction with Mercury on July 17. Cancer is the most subjective sign of the Zodiac and is positioned at its root. Mercury in Cancer and when it is closely aligned with the Sun increases subjective, emotion-driven reasoning. Although it takes 88 days for Mercury to orbit the Sun, it takes a year to complete a cycle around the Zodiac, from our geo-centric perspective. Geo-centrism is not a concept; it is our very experience of life. Ironically, the fact that the Sun is the center of the solar system is conceptual because it is not something we experience. Alternately, so strong and convincing are sensory and perceptual experiences that it has contributed to a worldwide conspiracy theory that asserts that the earth is flat and humanity has been deceived to believe it is a globe. Perception itself is not exact or objective, it is significantly subjective. Thus, belief and bias trump fact and truth in daily life, despite popular notions of the facts such as ‘the science’. Believe it or not!
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
Your mood will progressively shift this week even further away from an emphasis on larger, social, and political realities to those close to home. Mars now in earthy Taurus manifest as desires to slow down and putter in the garden, for example. Venus joining Sun and Mercury in subjective Cancer will inspire you to delight in the flowers.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
Inspirations to walk barefoot on the grass or dig into the soil as opposed to getting consumed by the daily grind and bemoaning the shifting sands of time are likely this week. Accept this as your cue and step into some downtime in the sunshine. You may still want to cover a lot of ground, but focus on the R&R factor.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Sometimes we feel pushed and pulled. On one hand, you will delight in expressing yourself creatively. On the other, you feel drawn inward to explore and/or to confront inner, subjective thoughts and feelings and perhaps emotional blocks and concepts. Strike the balance with artistic activity which is the most natural form of therapy.
Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

A sojourn into the deeper reaches of your moods and feelings is in the spotlight. Positively, you will be able to detect and discern intellectual, emotional, and sensory states and experiences. This could give rise to heightened imagination and creative inspiration. Whether you act on these impressions or simply feel them is up to you.
Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
If you pay attention, you will notice that most people are immersed in their own, subjective focus and experiences. Digging a little deeper, the realities of their unique personal psychology comes clearly into view.
