Tip of the Week:
Libra time is drawing to a close and yields to Scorpio’s cycle which begins on November 23rd this year. Sometimes the cycle of the Sun in a sign begins a day earlier on the calendar, due to the squeeze of the 356.25-day year into the 360 degrees of a complete official cycle. Yet, in these final days before the Sun leaves Libra, it will form a Scorpio aspect (upper inconjunct) to Neptune exactly on October 18 (yes, aspects can be associated with signs), then a Capricorn square to Pluto in Capricorn which is exact on October 21, which equates to big power moves. Then, less than a day after the Sun enters Scorpio, it will form a Sagittarius trine to Saturn, which is the ruler of Capricorn, in Pisces. In the meantime, Mercury also enters Scorpio joining the Sun and Mars on October 22. All of this activity will manifest at a collective level as a good deal of communication on the airwaves about truth and justice, backed by suspicion, skepticism, and deeper investigation. Yet, it can also prove excellent for diving into new studies, generally.
The Moon this week reveals the Moon at half mast in the late degrees of Capricorn and conjunct Pluto, both on October 21st. This First Quarter phase of the Moon (half Moon) is the waxing of last week’s Solar Eclipse in fairness, equality, and justice-oriented Libra. This mid-stage phase, symbolically associated with Aries, implies dynamic, decisive action and, with Mars in Scorpio, could well prove to be at least assertive and quite aggressive. It is also the mid-point to the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse that occurs at 5 Taurus 09 on October 28th, gracing Halloween weekend with a full-blown howler!
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
The emphasis on relationship harmony continues this week yet will also yield to a deeper dive into personal transformation. The law of change embraced consciously implies a steady process of evolutionary growth. This is your invitation and opportunity, especially where it counts, in your heart.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
You in the last days of a purging and purification cycle. Did you do it? Even one small, qualitative shift of attitude or perspective or behavior pattern, for the better, is enough to make a worthwhile difference. Since the change is for your own benefit, the investment has a quick return.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
A creative and playful cycle took a turn to the need for more serious efforts last week, replacing the big laughter smile with furled-brow determination. Just like an exciting, competitive sport, edgy engagement can also be a source of joy and victory too, if you put your heart into it.
Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
A busy cycle close to home has already and will continue to include an exciting and passionate if also somewhat intense and dramatic creative cycle. Some of the focus will continue to be directed to home and family and this will continue for several weeks.
Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
A steady flow of business on a variety of fronts has been particularly emphasized over the past several weeks. The focus and pace have likely shifted and maybe even eased off for a while, but it is about to take a deeper turn again, yet this time it includes the mystic.
Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
A process of improvement, refinement, and beautification and perhaps health and vibration-raising activities have been keeping you busy. While this focus will continue for a while yet, it is shifting now to include a fiery determination to break patterns and enter new territory.
Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
A momentum that has been building for some weeks will shift into the next higher gear allowing you to cruise at high speed. Ironically, this will also support you to be able to relax and enjoy the journey like driving on an open highway with curves, lovely scenery et all, going 120.
Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
A busy time behind the scenes also includes an outer expression of your sense of independence and individuality. While this theme will continue, the tone will shift to a more assertive pace. Yet it also presents you with some important decisions, like a major fork in the road.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Getting closer to and more fully identifying with your sense of individuality continues as a central theme. Yet, this process also requires some inner work. This implies identifying blocks in your behavior patterns, self-concepts, and attitudes which are likely lodged in your subconscious.
Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
The aspirations to be seen, heard, acknowledged, recognized, and rewarded have all been on your mind. This has at best boosted your resolve and energy levels. You may even be considering what is next and what is possible. The reality begins with the dream.
Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
A philosophical mood has been percolating for a few weeks. Freedom and justice are likely strong themes. You would like to do something to contribute to larger causes but may feel stumped about what. Consider that putting your heart more into your own life activities will actually help… everyone.
Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
Slowly but surely, you have undergone a period of change and transformation, of regeneration. The focus may have been both within and without. The follow-up on the inner work is to both deepen and increase your willingness to be of service. The outer work simply requires follow-through on the details.
