The sign ruled by the Sun itself is symbolic of children playing, fun, games, arts, entertainment, and the natural desire of the human ego to be seen, acknowledged, and celebrated.On the high side of this is the truth that despite our many similarities, we are also each unique and special, even though we may feel ordinary and insignificant. Your perspectives and attitude are swinging to much more practical considerations than has been the case these past few weeks. Yet, with summer still in full swing, you will also want to weave in ample fun in the sun.Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20) Although it is not your Sun Sign specifically, the Leo archetype is core to your nature. This is where that notorious stubborn pride is anchored. Positively, it lends to your creative intelligence. Directing your focus to repairing, improving, and beautifying is a current theme.Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21) The fiery impulse of Leo, amplified by Venus, and Mars in Gemini contributing to Jupiter, are together coloring your desire to both express yourself and to enjoy the expressions and entertainments of others. Call it, ‘sharing the spotlight’. This is your cue to see and be seen.Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22) Leo time tends to direct your focus to what is most important and valuable to you. In some respects, it juxtaposes notions of death and endings to bring emphasis to the preciousness of time and life in general. The emphasis could also be more practical, as with investment considerations.Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23) A revival of creative expressions is emphasized now. Among the challenges is not taking on too much and spreading yourself thin. Focusing to bring existing projects to completion might prove wise. Meanwhile, thoughts about true friendship and who are in fact your true friends are lingering.Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22) The time is right to retreat. This can manifest as getting away literally or entering a creative process behind the scenes. Ironically, other influences emphasize increase and expansion in your public and professional life, the focus of which will deepen due to the upcoming Mercury retrograde.Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22) The combination of emphasized Leo and Gemini are positives that could be leaving you feeling like you have a new lease of life. Mercury in Virgo and especially as it is soon to turn retrograde could however, lead you to some of the previously overlooked fine print. Focus to remain grounded.Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21) The time has come to rise and shine, to be seen, acknowledged, recognized, and rewarded. How you do it is relative to your situation. You could get a new job, or push for a promotion, and/or a raise, or perhaps it is time to launch a marketing campaign. Whatever makes sense, go for it!Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21) You can accurately say that Leo is a sign that is close to your heart and soul. At least this is true astrologically. With Venus there too, the time is right to enjoy cultural activities and interests. Yet, where Jupiter in Gemini indicates social outreach, Mars also in Gemini cautions against belligerence.Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19) Somehow, you will be oriented to purge old aspects of yourself, or at least to take a needed break. This can be achieved by opening yourself to new people, places, and activities that stimulate other, often dormant, aspects of your personality. Make way for a new you, or at least alternate facets.Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19) Leo time is calling you out to increase your social outreach. The Gemini factors involved are inviting you out to play. As Mercury will soon slow and retrograde however, you could be extra challenged to hold your ground in terms of expressing yourself authentically. If in doubt, listen more and speak less.Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20) Extra emphasis on your health and welfare and self-care should be evident by now. It includes and requires more effort than you might like. This trend will continue and deepen yet over the coming weeks.
