Tip of the Week:
As we round the corner of the last quarter of the Moon, its light is rapidly diminishing. The last New Moon was in Leo and this next one is at 21 Virgo 59 and occurs on September 14. The 29.5-day cycle from one lunation cycle to another is a constant that predates humanity, let alone human history. Yet, in the whole sense, each New Moon is unique due to the positions of all the other planets.
Virgo is strongly associated with this principle of wholeness, which can also be described as holism. Health, wholesomeness, food, and nutrition all share in these themes corresponding to the harvest sign. The connection with holism can be further extended to words like holy. In this regard, high levels of health can be described as both wholesome and holy.
When a person is very healthy, in the whole sense of the word, they can be understood to be vibrating at a high level. Beyond physical health, this extends to our whole energy field, as well. Where science meets spirituality, this is where the discussion of our energy centers, or Chakras, comes to the fore.
There are 7 main chakras or energy centers. They may seem esoteric, but they are measurable and, therefore can be detected scientifically. I mentioned this a little while ago, but it is worth doing so again. Proving their existence invites us to conduct our own experiments, to be scientific, as opposed to ‘believing in’ or ‘following’ the science’ Those who do deserve to be understood as ‘in the herd’. I mentioned Rhythms of the Chakras by Glen Velez as among the best sources of sound to listen to and literally feel each energy center. This is your reminder. Appreciating the reality of the Chakras is an obvious doorway to metaphysics and spiritual science, generally.
P.S. The rewards of your efforts in listening to it are many, including becoming that much more ‘embodied’ or sensitive to what you can actually feel. As it is, many people live in their heads and are quite out of touch with their bodies and, in this regard, are probably not healthy, wholesome, or, therefore, holy. As well, your conviction may also serve to awaken others.
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
As determined as you are to be productive, you are also in a frisky, playful, and provocative mood. Sometimes the mix of energies is complex, like now. Between bouts of more sober, practical efforts, you are wise to look for reason and opportunity to recognize, seize, and enjoy the lighter moments.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 20)
A proud, creative determination is guiding your focus. Beyond beauty, your aim is for transformation. Learning how to let go of the old to make way for the new is featured. This could include old friendships and alliances. Expansion is a keyword as are increase and advancement.
Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)
Cleaning up from summer, preparing for autumn, and enjoying social activities in between are indicated now. The clearing work could manifest as renovations in your home, or in your mind, approach, or lifestyle in general. You are at something of a pinnacle or plateau in your life, so enjoy it.
Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)
Thinking critically, analyzing, and discerning to see through the fluff, distractions, and shallow allurement to know what is really going on is keeping you busy. You want real answers and truth and are hardly interested in matter-of-fact parroting. Sincerity can be hard to find so lead by example.
Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)
Your aim now is for practical efficiency. While creating or expressing yourself in beautiful ways is also indicated, you want to avoid excess or unnecessary frills. Providing quality with value is all that really matters and trying to impress a difficult audience will cause grief, so be true to yourself.
Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)
The Sun in your time marks a whole new cycle for you. Technically, it is called the Solar Return cast for the exact moment the Sun is at the same degree it was at your birth. Generally, this year indicates an increase in your foundation for greater outreach in the coming months and years.
Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)
You have been called within. Will you answer? What will you do in there? Meanwhile, friends want some of your time and engagement. You want both and can have both, simply by managing your time. Yet, in this case, it is less about managing the day and more like the weeks, with mini bouts in retreat.
Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)
Who are you, specifically? I mean as an individual. Do you think you know yourself fully? Are there any blind spots? Do you ever wonder if there are untapped and undiscovered aspects of you? If interested, you will have to open yourself to the possibilities and this may require specific tools and/or techniques.
Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)
Life is about service, yet it is not the same as servitude. The latter is unrewarded slavery while the former is a sharing of time, energy, talents, and resources, that are acknowledged, appreciated, and renumerated, at least energetically. Get clear on the difference and decipher how you can best be of service.
Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)
In the quest for answers, you may have discovered that there are more questions. However, each answer can prove important, and empowering; when it is an answer that addresses genuine needs. Sometimes answers are given even without asking. Pray for the wisdom to recognize them.
Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)
In this cycle of change, is it you that is changing, or are you making changes for others? Both orientations are possible. This process will continue for another couple of weeks and includes some measure of research. On the high side, you will breach barriers that have been blocking progress.
Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)
Your relationship life has taken on a whole new emphasis. Taking new leads is indicated, at least in the initial steps for the sake of a foundation and to build momentum. Your ambition and drive have increased, and you are determined to push through any resistance, within or without.
