Insights, Inspirations & Forecast:
Scorpio time began early this year. It can be said to have begun when Venus entered Scorpio way back on September 10, just hours before the Virgo New Moon. So, it was a part of that lunation cycle, which ends with the handoff to the next New Moon on October 10. The Sun entering Venus-ruled Libra on September 23, marking the advent of Autumn Equinox and the last quarter of the natural year cycle, added to the Scorpionic influence.
Mercury entered Scorpio on September 30 as well, and then Venus turns retrograde while in Scorpio on October 3. A planet in retrograde motion can be deemed ‘heavier’ than when in direct motion. Consider the weighted feeling when circumstances require driving or even walking in reverse. The dynamic is at least awkward and tends to be uncoordinated too.
These examples together should suffice to make the point of the weight of a retrograde planet.
Venus joins Saturn, Chiron, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, which are also all currently retrograde.
Mercury is entering its pre-shadow period, otherwise described as slowing down prior to turning retrograde as well, which will happen on October 24.
By the time Venus finally completes her passage through the sign of the dark night, it will be 2027, January 7, to be exact. Although Venus will re-enter Libra from October 25 to December 4, Sun and Mercury will be in the sign of the underworld to keep the fires burning.
‘Scorpio time’ itself, (based on the Sun officially entering Scorpio) begins on October 23 and ends on November 21. Yet, Mercury will be there until December 6, making sure Venus’s return to the inner lair is well-established.
Thus, this overall Scorpio influence emphasis will have been with us for 4 months.
It comes to mind that Halloween this year could prove especially potent, which could prove fun, if you like things dark, mysterious, and riddled with undercurrents, secret activities, and intrigue. Most macabre of all is the scope of deception hiding out in the open, which means of course, that many do not have a clue that it is so, in part due to hypnotic spells.
Yes, the Scorpio factor is indeed potent this year.
