DC League of Super-Pets follows Krypto, the faithful dog of the intrepid hero Superman. Krypto possesses the same host of super-human abilities as his owner, serving as a sidekick in his crime-fighting career. When Superman and the Justice League are captured by the villainous Lex Luthor, it is up to Krypto and a band of powered-up pets to save the day and free the imprisoned heroes. The film boasts an all-star cast, featuring performances from Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, John Krazinski and Keanu Reeves. Don’t miss the Super-Pet’s debut appearance, playing at both the Shoebox Theatre and the Civic Theatre.
The 1982 classic Fast Times at Ridgemont High celebrates its 40 year anniversary this week. The film follows an awkward love triangle, as well as the antics of a slacking student and his ultra-strict teacher. Don’t miss this cult-classic comedy when it returns to The Shoebox and The Civic Theatre on Thursday, August 18th.
New to our theatres is Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris, a charming, quirky film about a London maid who embarks on her dream trip to Paris. Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris is equally as funny as it is charming, taking place in the mid 1950s. Be sure to see this enchanting film when it arrives at our theatres on Friday, August 19th.
