Now that the weather has truly turned from the seemingly never-ending warm temperatures to the
seasonal norms, we are starting to gather indoors with family and friends. In a mere eight weeks
Christmas will be upon us and, as usual there comes the stress of planning social gatherings for
family and friends.
The Nelson Italian-Canadian Society is back to help relieve the stress by providing our famous
spaghetti sauce; Traditional and Vegetarian.
The homemade sauce will be made from an authentic recipe that uses canned crushed
tomatoes, tomato sauce, onions, garlic, olive oil, wine, salt, pepper, fresh and dried herbs. No
preservatives, no gluten, no dairy. Just really good comfort food to help warm your body and
soul on these cold winter days.
The spaghetti sauce will be sold in 1- litre plastic containers for $12.00 each.
