Tip of the Week:

The festive season is accompanied by two very significant events this year. This first is serious Saturn in Aquarius forming its final square to original and unorthodox Uranus in Taurus. The conjunction of these two gas giants occurred in 1988 and this marks the beginning of its final quarter which extends to 2032…. Since Uranus and Saturn share rulership of Aquarius, this already dynamic aspect is that much more powerful. The thing is that square aspects reveal energies at cross purposes. The outer synchronicity is a flailing economy on a global scale.  Whatever the exact causes, there it is. Some assert that it will ultimately lead to worldwide economic reform manifesting as the end of Fiat currency (money as we know it) and the takeover of digital currency, as with Cryptocurrency, perhaps. The other major event is Jupiter entering Pisces on December 28 but more on that next week. What stands out is the fact that Jupiter and Saturn are the social planets symbolic of norms, customs and traditions and Uranus is the trans-social revolutionary.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Your ability to be fully present in the moment to enjoy the festive season will vie with the pressures of larger fiscal realities. Like an earthquake that is being felt across the entire planet, it is hard to idly ignore it. Looking to the future with optimism will require deep acceptance and determination to adapt.

The Moon waxes to full on December 19, Venus in Capricorn conjunct Pluto stations prior to turning retrograde the same day and Saturn in Aquarius will form its last square to retrograde Uranus in Taurus on December 24, just in time for Christmas. This Full Moon is the culmination of the Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius which agitated Rastaban, aka, the eye of Draco, so we can expect some big events in both our personal lives and on the larger social scene, according to the respective destinies of people and places. Yet, we can rejoice in the blessing that the Sun will be auspiciously conjunct the Galactic Center (27 Sagittarius), regarded as highly spiritual, as the waxing Moon opposes and culminates to the same degree in Gemini. Jupiter at 27 Aquarius in sextile aspect adds to this highlight presenting opportunities for positive social reform. Mars conjunct the Lunar South Node also in Sagittarius indicates excessive exercise of government authority will be revealed.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

By now, the destined influence of last week’s Solar Eclipse will be revealing its purpose. Yet, sometimes the impact is delayed due to the specifics on finer details as revealed in our Birth Chart. Venus forming a close conjunction to Pluto as it approaches its stationary point prior to turning retrograde on December 19-20 is the other big news. Of all the planets for it to be in such close and weighted alignment, Pluto indicates a powerful theme of transformation for the duration of the retrograde cycle which includes an exact conjunction right on December 25 and culminating with a triple conjunction with Mars and Pluto on March 3. Venus will finally escape the clutches of Pluto when both she and her lover enter Aquarius within 5-minutes of each other – a rare event indeed. So, something very distinct and powerful is featured in this entire process which began back on November 5 just hours after the Scorpio New Moon. Generally, themes of death and rebirth are implied and are synchronizing with the birth of a new, global culture.

A powerful Total Solar Eclipse occurs on December 4 at 12 Sagittarius 22. The chart pattern is a bowl which implies many events and experiences.  Mars at 23 Scorpio 40 is the lead planet which promises passion, action, drama and heroism, and probably aggression and violence too, especially due to a close square to Jupiter in revolutionary Aquarius. This theme of aggression is amplified by the fact that the eclipse is conjunct the fixed star Rastaban which the ancient’s referred to as the ‘eye of the dragon’ Draco’, known to manifest as loss of property, violence, criminal inclinations and accidents when strongly activated, like it is now. 

A socially opportune aspect to Saturn in Aquarius is disrupted by an awkward aspect to Uranus in Taurus indicates further challenges in the economies of the world. Venus trailing Pluto by conjunction in Capricorn suggests lowered confidence levels stemming from governmental and higher management levels. Fortunately, Jupiter is linked to justice-oriented Libra and truth aspiring Sagittarius, yet any such victories will likely be hard won.

As we complete the first week of Sagittarius time, we enter the final week of the lunation cycle that began in early November. There is usually this overlap of the two cycles, unless the New Moon happens to occur on or within a day or two following the Sun’s entry into the next sign. Both cycles are significant and their synchronistic influences can be recognized, yet the lunation cycle carries greater weight in terms of collective rhythms and outer expressions.

Still the Sun in Sagittarius is already activating Jupiter, the ruling planet of the sign of the centaur archer which is Chiron, by the way, as the constellation as opposed to the planetoid itself that it is. Mars in Scorpio will be forming a hard 90-degree square to Jupiter starting on November 27 and coming to exact on December 6, creating its own overlap with Solar Eclipse New Moon on December 4^th. Thus the potent, revolutionary impulse will linger until  the next eclipse  season in six  months!

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Sagittarius time will stir and shake any part of you not yet awake. This impulse will be amplified with the coming Solar Eclipse. You will be on a march for truth and rights and freedoms. A Lunar Eclipse on November 19 is among the main headlines now. Eclipse season is a bi-annual event and it does require the correct interpretation lens to truly understand the personal implications. The general rule of thumb in the difference between Solar and Lunar Eclipses is that Solar Eclipses are more external and eventful and Lunar Eclipses are more internal and emotional. Further Solar Eclipses bring about unexpected events whereas Lunar Eclipses produce events based on our own thoughts and feelings stemming from the influence that the eclipse may have on us. The other factor is where the eclipses occur in your Natal Chart.

The Sun enters Sagittarius on November 21 here in North America. Even though Mercury will enter Sagittarius on November 24, the ingress chart of the Sun into Sagittarius indicates a lingering influence for the entire transit or until Winter Solstice. Yes, the Natural New Year is just a month away and a Solar Eclipse will occur at the midpoint.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

The deep dive into Scorpio’s lair will continue for you even after the Sun enters Sagittarius. Yet, the fiery impulse of the majestic centaur, Chiron, which depicts the constellation of Sagittarius, will indeed have an impact. Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

While your ambitions remain strong, your actual drive is another matter. A slow but sure pace remains likely. Long-term investments are probably your best bet.  These may include creating a more beautiful living environment where the returns are more qualitative than quantitative. But, be sure to measure twice before you cut and commit.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

A steady momentum has been building and has entered its next effect stage. Expansion and increase are key themes. Yet, if you have not yet confronted certain fears you may feel delayed, blocked and frustrated. Fortunately, Jupiter is positioned to increase your confidence levels by way of unexpected abundance coming into your life over the past several months.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

The Sun in your sign will synchronize with an adventurous spirit to enter into and explore new territory. This may occur intellectually as well as or instead of as literal travel. Either way, you will come away with many new perspectives which may change some of your existing beliefs quite radically. Enjoy variety yet avoid scattering.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Themes of friendship, alliances and power in numbers continue this week. Yet, the Sun in Sagittarius indicates a time for turning within for you. Whether as rest and recuperation, or as an escape into dreams, retreat and meditation and/or contemplation…, you are wise to reconnect with yourself and source. Yet, you may also use it to get stuff done in private.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

Public and/or professional ambitions continue to spur you on. This week, the emphasis will shift. An expansive time in the friend and network department is featured. This will prove to be a desired time to engage and collaborate. As you reach without, it may also feel necessary to balance the scales by reaching within and doing extra spiritual work.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)                

Mars in Scorpio will perpetuate a push and drive both practically and spiritually. The Sun in Sagittarius also emphasizes your public and professional life and this will continue through December. An emphasis on money and finances which began in early November will remain through to March and could well  prove to  be a time of abundance and prosperity.
